Situated in Val-d’Or on the east side of Lac Blouin and facing the Harricana River, Au Soleil Couchant features a barbecue. It is 12 minutes' drive from the Val-d'Or city centre. Diane and Michel are exceptional hosts with their very warm and welcoming hospitality, great humour and attentions. We definitely felt like staying at a friend's relatives! The rooms were cozy, place was beautiful. They also served exquisite homemade breakfast, colourful and tasty, which we got to enjoy along with beautiful view of Lac Blouin. Merci beaucoup!!

Located at the eastern entrance of Val D’Or, this hotel features 2 on-site restaurants that favours local products from the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region. Free in-room Wi-Fi is available. Very confortable bed. I arrived in the middle of the night and there was someone to help me with the check in and was very gentle. the room was very clean. I was just passing by Val d'or so the ubication was very convenient for me, I didnt have to go to town to find the hotel.
