The staff are incredibly nice and helpful. It was the perfect retreat we needed. The massage was exceptional. Truly a retreat!

The place is quite beautiful. Great views of the mountains, access to the river (not for swimming, though), a lot of nature, and an amazing view of the sky at night. Great to do some outside activities if you are up to (walking, hiking, horse riding, rafting), or just rest in a calm environment. There is a small (really small) village nearby (walking distance), with just a few options of restaurants (no supermarkets, drugstores, etc.), in addition to the restaurant and coffee shop inside the hotel property (which is located around 1 hour by car from Santiago).

Located in Camino al Volcán and offering an outdoor pool, Haiku Cabañas Panorámicas offers bungalows in San José de Maipo. The cabin came stocked with a good supply of matches/kindling/firewood for the fire pit on the deck and the woodstove inside - highly recommended for a winter stay!

The accommodations at La Casa de Carlitos will provide you with a patio and a terrace. pool was great....both of them! Breakfast and coffee was whatever I asked for, they provided. I used their hot tub, and it was also great. Many restaurants around. Completely surrounded by mountains. Wineries were 40mins away.

Peaceful and green surroundings. Friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of secure parking. Lots of nature activities. Best place we stayed in South America.

Hotel Altiplanico Cajón del Maipo is set in a charming house made of wood and clay, and surrounded by a big garden with a pool. It offers rooms with plasma TV in San José de Maipo. Beautiful location, top quality food and lovely staff. A very relaxing and enjoyable spot for 2 or 3 nights.

I was unwell during the night, the staff there have been really kind to find me migraine medicine.

The lodge is in a beautiful location on the banks of the Maipo River. It was ideal for our travelling group (5 persons/3 rooms) for our two night stay. As it is 14kms from the town centre of San Jose de Maipo and, even considering there are a few dining options within 5kms, we decided to eat in and use the BBQ facilities. While this means going to the supermarket for essentials it was well worth it, relaxing on the deck with good Chilean wine. The owner, Christian, set the BBQs up and got the fires going (his specialty). The cabins are well appointed and the sound of the Maipo River is music to the ears. Communication with the owner is via WhatsApp and his responses were always immediate.
