Positioned along Taohua River, Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel boasts a Chinese-style courtyard and is located in Lujia Village, just 2 km from downtown Guilin. I travel a lot and have never had such a good hotel experience. Everything was perfect, from the free pick-up at the train station, where we got water right away, to the amazing atmosphere of the hotel and the luxurious rooms. The owner of the hotel knows how to make his guests feel at home, he helped and advised us with everything, he prepared an excellent breakfast every morning and on the day of departure he also gave us a card to another hotel room so that we could use the bathroom, since check-out was at 14:00 and we left at midnight. At the end of our stay, we also received a gift - excellent attitude, clearly the best accommodation of the entire stay in China. 100% recommended

Some older bus do not have the means for electronic payment. We stayed in two different rooms, River view with tatami and deluxe family room. Both were very good rooms, excellent water pressure and rain shower was a delight! The room facing the River was a bit noisy during early evening but was not a problem later in the night, when all activities in the nearby park finished and participants dispersed. The deluxe family room, which was facing the inner alley, was very quiet. We did not have breakfast included with the room, but nearby are eateries and a very good bakery. A supermarket is also nearby. We also appreciate the excellent and thorough information provided by the hotel regarding how to get to the hotel from whatever mode of transportation one is taking.

The views of our room was amazing..the size of the room was comfortable.the staff was very nice & helpful they brought our luggages to the room and helped us with everything we asked. The staff was really super nice all of them . I will definitely recommend that hotel for my friends.
