The garden was very beautiful and full of birds. The location couldn't be improved - perhaps a five/ten minute walk to lots of restaurants and a short taxi journey to a number of hot springs. We'll definitely be staying there again.

An oasis of tranquility and beauty in San Jose, a must for any traveller looking to relax after a long flight (we arrived on the BA flight from LGW). Could not of asked for a more hospitable owner (great communication prior to our arrival), and staff who made our stay a fabulous experience. Accommodation was faultless and spotless with an outdoor shower as added bonus. We only stayed for one night as we were in transit to Manuel Antonio, but wished we had stayed for a couple of days to explore San Jose. The pool and restaurant were perfect, and the breakfast was amazing (especially as we were first time visitors to Costa Rica). Will most definitely stay again, Pura Vida The Bowie's of Hull.
