Situated 200 metres from Finikoudes Promenade in the centre of Larnaca, Qbic City Hotel features a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property. First of all staff was great. Daphne was the best source of information and always helpful. Girls serving breakfast were also great and helpful (girl with the tatoos and Lithuanian girl). Modern boutique hotel close to the main promenade. Rooms spacious and clean with all facilities you need. Breakfast was delicious. We also tried the food in Mingle bistro open to the public, also great. They allowed us early check in and they stored our luggage on the day of the departure. Everything was great!

Located in the heart of Larnaka city, The Rise Street Art Hotel is a 5-minute walk from the famous Phoinikoudes Beach. Easy to reach by bus from the airport, and only 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Fun design unique to each room gives some character. Staff super helpful; got room ready for early check in, and were also able to print travel documents upon request. Breakfast also great with lots of selection of quality foods. All power outlets were for British standard only, but there was one next to the bed that had a USB plug.

Conveniently situated in the historical Larnaca City Centre district of Larnaka, the contemporary 4-storey Hotel Indigo Larnaca, an IHG Hotel-ADULTS ONLY features a rooftop pool with magnificent... It was a modern, clean hotel. For two friends travelling their two large beds were a great feature compared to typical two single bed set up. Everything in the room was working well. The staff were extra friendly. Their breakfast and restaurant for dinner was really tasty. The location is next to many sights of Larnaca. Their AC is extra cool, which is not my preference but it was possible to turn it off or play with the settings or open the balcony, so all good.

Based upon what we have seen we would choose Limassol as a base next time. It has much more to offer in terms of sightseeing and shopping. Larnaca is okay, however, but it is not much fun to walk around. There is no good pedestrian area and the traffic is quite intense for a holiday resort. You cannot relax if you have to keep watching your back because of the drivers. So, we spent 2 days out of the six in Larnaca, we preferred moving to other places. Restaurant Monte Carlo is recommended in Larnaca.
