The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast excellent. The hotel offered free tea and coffee with cakes in the afternoon. The staff was helpful in every way. The restaurant in the castle is excellent. It is definitely worth visiting the castle and museum of the property. All is very well preserved and restored.

The staff was really nice, welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, very nice shower, comfy bed :) Hotel situated on a square where you can eat and drink. They have a safe place to park your back if you need to. The breakfast is amazing. The best we had during our trip ! So much to choose from, tasty. We will book again if we come back to the area !

Located within a historic castle, this 4-star hotel offers gourmet cuisine, romantic rooms with great views of the medieval town of Oberwesel and the Rhine River Valley. The location is amazing and the view is beautiful. Staying in the castle feels like a fairytale. The room was nicely decorated and very cosy. Complementary sherry in the room and a minibar with local beer, sparkling and still water, different juices. Absolutely loved that the rooms and the whole interior had been kept in a historical style and not made to look modern. Both at dinner and breakfast they make sure you have everything you need and are very accommodating to food restrictions. At dinner the wine that was suggested for each meal was delicious and perfectly fit exactly what we ate. During the stay they give a key to the garden, which is lovely to walk through, even in November. The staff are accommodating and very hospitable. Room had a a book with a detailed description of any services on location and nearby, info about the hotel, the history, activities and sights nearby. While at the hotel it is nice to walk and explore the castle and all the small spaces in and around it. There are even a few areas where you can sit and enjoy the atmosphere, read a book or play chess next to the fireplace.
