Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa is a hidden treasure on the northern coast of Estonia, set amidst the pristine Lahemaa National Park close to the Baltic Sea. The place is very beautiful (especially at night and in winter), so much to see and to do. Very nice SPA included in the price of the standard room. It was very relaxing after the long road.

Þessi sögulega landareign er umkringd fallegum náttúru Lahemaa-þjóðgarðsins og er staðsett nálægt strandlengju Norður-Eistlands, á milli Tallinn og rússnesku landamæranna. Sagadi Manor Hotel is a very peaceful and enjoyable place to stay. It is well-equipped and is set in attractive grounds, being part of the Sagadi Manor complex. The manor house and the Forest Museum are both very worthy of visiting. The in-house restaurant specialises in local Estonian dishes.

Ämmamoori Maja - Mother-in-Law's House er staðsett í Palmse á Lääne-Virumaa-svæðinu og er með verönd. Það er sérinngangur á gistihúsinu til aukinna þæginda fyrir þá sem dvelja á staðnum. Very comfortable accommodation with a big garden. Lovely quiet countryside surroundings. Professional hostess, very knowledgeable on guests' needs. Came with a wonderful warm breakfast.

Käsmu Holiday House er staðsett í Kasmu og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi og sjávarútsýni. Gististaðurinn er einnig með litla verönd. Öll herbergin á gistikránni eru með setusvæði og leslampa. There were 8 of us. Nicely divided for privacy between the genders. Big dinner table where we could work and eat together. Ample parking.

Aablaranna Puhkemaja er staðsett í Kolga-Aabla og býður upp á gistirými með flatskjá. Gististaðurinn samanstendur af 3 mismunandi húsum með hjónaherbergjum. 1) The hosts were very nice and very responsive; moreover, it was nice that they live on the property. 2) Incredibly nice showers, and sauna looked to be good as well (although we did not try it. 3) Clean, well kept, and with an extremely comfortable bed. 4) Located in a pretty part of the country. The nearby shorelines is very nice. Background note concerning responses in this review: There are three rental cottages on the premises; we were in #2. The others looked to be similar size, but we don't know whether everything in our response would apply accurately to them.

Sinisalu Apartments er sér sumarhús sem er staðsett í hinu fallega Käsmu-þorpi sem þekkt er meðal eistna sem „Captain's Village“. We stayed in the beautiful little garden cottage. It was just lovely, there was a heating lamp on the terrace to enjoy the evening even with cooler temperatures. It was comfy and cozy and nice. And the lady who welcomed us was very kind. We loved our stay!

Merekalda Apartment er staðsett við sjávarsíðuna í Lahemaa-þjóðgarðinum og er umkringt fallegum gróðri. Boðið er upp á gistirými með eldunaraðstöðu í íbúðum. Very good location. Responsive and attentative host. Spotless apartement with great views. Quiet surrounding. Great restaurant ca 1 km walking distance.

Tiny Cozy House er staðsett í Pärispea á Harjumaa-svæðinu og er með garð. Þessi gististaður við ströndina er með verönd og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Starfsfólk hótelsins getur útvegað skutluþjónustu. The property is accessible by public bus from Tallinn, there are 2-3 a day. Nearest grocery shop is quite a distance, so you need to bring all your food with you. There are some great walks along the coast, that is a few hundred metres away along a path. The house is essentially one room with a bunk bed, a fantastic open fire, basic electric cooking facilities and a shower area. Unfortunately during my stay (April) the water that is supplied to the house by a hosepipe froze . There is a shower in the place but I couldn't use it as the water was frozen. The owners brought me buckets of water to wash myself / dishes etc. They also supplied bottled water to drink. The earth toilet facilities are outside in a nearby shed. There's also plenty of pre-chopped firewood. Overall a great place to stay, I enjoyed my visit but I don't think it would suit everybody.
