I had a wonderful stay at Zan-Seyoum Hotel Lalibela.The location is great. The room were very clean , comfortable bed and with excellent bathroom. Breakfast and all the meals was freshly cooked and very delicious .The surrounding mountain scenery is beautiful. Excellent service,the owner and all the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Yohannes,the owner booked my tour guide and transportation to the remarkable churches of Lalibela. A very delightful experience !

Halle Hotel Lalibela has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and BBQ facilities in Lalībela. Built in 2020, the property is within 2 km of Bet Amanuel and 2.9 km of Bet Abba Libanos. My stay at Halle was great! My room was clean, spacious, quiet, and had a phenomenal sunset view. The bed was very comfortable as well. I travelled solo to Lalibela and this hotel felt very safe. The hotel manager Belay was very responsive to all my questions/concerns and helped me with everything I needed during my stay from walking me to where I wanted to go to lending me an electrical adapter. The hotel itself is around 5-7 minute tuk tuk ride from the churches (so rather close but away from the town center so it’s quiet and peaceful). I would definitely stay here again!

The rooms are even more beautiful than advertised, stunning views and gorgeous art throughout. The staff and owner were exceptionally kind and prepared an amazing sunset dinner overlooking the mountains. They booked our tour to the churches and ensured we were safely accompanied with a knowledgeable guide. A delightful experience all around!

Located in Lalībela, 200 metres from Bet Medhane Alem, FikirandRay Lodge provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. I loved staying at Fikir and Ray. The lodge itself is beautiful, and my room had lovely views towards the country side. It is located about 15 mins by foot from Lalibela's central area. The hotel arranged my transport from/to the airport, and my guide (Girma) met me there and was extremely helpful throughout my stay both with activities in Lalibela and a person problem I had. The owner, Abebe, also helped me with all the above and is extremely kind. Breakfast was at a nearby sister hotel, which also provided wifi as there are some problems with local connections. The staff at both hotels were incredibly kind and I would, and already have, recommended this to friends.

The views from the room are UN-BELIEVABLE. By far the main reason to stay here. Imagine just chilling in your private terrace watching the sun set over the mountains. But other than that, the staff was great and not overly pushy, the room itself basic but comfy enough, and the facilities in the area look like they would be amazing -- in peaceful times, but right now the place is very empty.

My room at the Alef Paradise hotel had a really beautiful view that I could enjoy from my own little patio. The staff were all very nice and helpful and even set me up with a local guide and transport before I arrived. The free breakfast was really delicious - especially the coffee! Overall, the Alef Paradise hotel is a great value for money and I would definitely recommend to future visitors! To note: the power is only on at certain times of day (evening and potentially a few hours in the morning) but that's more a function of power in the town and not due to Alef Paradise Hotel. Just plan to charge your things at night or have a power bank with you.
