After 16 years living in France this was the first time I felt respected and truly welcomed as a customer. This hotel gets my sincere admiration.

Infrared(!) sauna available with bubble bath, bookable for 45 minutes. Window had a curtain. The staff is nice, but speaks only french.

The staff is so good and help me a lot with knowing how to get around and find the bus, and even let me do late check-out so I can ski another half day. There is a shuttle bus every morning for skiing.

They do absolutely everything for you to feel comfortable and to be happy while you are there. I highly recommend to stay there if you visit Vars. Besides all, it is the 5th generation of this family who runs the business. All of them are working 24/7 for guests satisfaction. The kitchen is another high quality approach story. Every day you have different menu, so you can enjoy the variety of French cuisine.

Chalet-Hôtel Alpage & SPA ligger i byn Sainte Marie, bara 150 meter från skidbackarna. Här finns ett spa, en mysig bar med öppen spis och en lounge på mezzaninen. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful with explaining what we can do in the area (there is some amazing hiking/walking trails) . The local beer was delicious and the breakfast in the morning was great too!
