Rooms were clean and cozy. Ample parking right behind the hotel and an easy walk to the center of town. Our room also afforded a lovely view of the lake. The front on the hotel has a lovely seating area and garden where my wife and I had an evening drink from the hotel's honesty bar (well-stocked).

This hotel is beautiful and nicely positioned overlooking Windermere. The lounge, terrasse and dining room are all well appointed and elegant. The meals are good and the breakfast was particularly delicious. The staff are all friendly and helpful, taking time to assist with whatever you need to know. Our bedroom, although slightly smaller than I expected, was comfortable, clean and had a lovely view.
