Something about this place with positive, chill and loving vibe that makes you feel good and like home. We love the North location on Gili Air. Beautiful sunset and energy. Maya and Fabian make sure we are comfortable and very responsive to our questions and requests. Friendly staff are always smiling and ready to serve. We have daily breakfast on our beach front porch. New Year’s Eve was so special, there were tapas and sangria for the guests while enjoying the sunset. We later went to Hakuna Matata for sushi and Queen Sunset for NYE party, just a short walk. There are also Healing Food cafe with gluten free, sugar free goodies / coffees just 5 mins walk. We highly recommend this place.

The smoothie bowls and pancakes were delicious. the staff were so friendly & attentive to everything you would need. i could not fault them in anyways! they rented bikes to us at a low cost & the laundry service was very quick which was great. overall I would recommend here to anyone visiting gili air!

The property is well-maintained and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Also took advantage of the fact that this is also a dive centre and has some phenomenal dives with an excellent diving instructor. I would highly recommend doing diving with Mario if you haven't done it before - Gili islands have some insanely beautiful five spots.

There's an ATM nearby as well. You can get everything that you would possibly wish for. We planned to stay 2 nights but ended up extending our stay because we fell in love with the place. If I ever go back to Gili Islands I would definitely stay there.

The staff is super friendly, the Hotel is not so far from the pier and because it is on the main street it is very easy to arrive with luggage (that is usually a problem in the Gili islands). The wifi worked great, and the cafe at the front of the hotel is a comfortable place to work from.

Amazing place, flowers smell while you walking or riding in the area.. Fresh water, In some hotels stil soulty water. I love this place. So peaceful.... And outstanding sunsets... The staff is amazing 👏 😍 Highly recommended if you want to hide from a noisy central area. The bed is super super super comfortable 😌 I did my yoga on the beach. Also they organize weddings. I saw a beautiful couple getting married. Maybe this hotel for honeymoon. Then I had honeymoon with myself and I enjoyed being there alone 💋🙏❤️😂

Wow, what can we say. If we could rate Pondok any higher we would! We have travelled the world and this could quite possibly be our favourite hotel experience. everything from the wonderful staff who can’t do enough for you, to the clean, spacious villas (garden villas are perfectly nestled in the back end of the complex making it so private), to the amazing amazing amazing breakfast and restaurant. We have returned back to Pondok for lunch and dinner, even after we have left, we loved it that much. The pool area is brilliant, relaxing and so close to the beach or your villa. OUR FAVOURITE HONEYMOON ACCOMMODATION!!!! Honestly, just book it. This place is amazing, the facilities are everything you want and need, the location is perfect, the staff are wonderful, and we loved all the little extra things they did for us (shhh. The staff - Amazing, so helpful, very welcoming, top notch polite and respectful. Shout out to Izan who was so nice. The establishment - Very clean, well kept, the rooms are quite close to each other but once inside we couldn't hear what was outside or next door. Very well decorated. The pool - Beautiful, warm, there is an arrangement of drinks and snacks in a "honesty bar" available. The spa - so peaceful, the staff is very nice and offer a very relaxing environment. The restaurants - Breakfast is very nice ("main course", platter of fresh fruit, coffee/tea, fresh fruit juice) and filling! We also had dinner at the Spanish/tapas restaurant that was delicious.
