Vogelkopf is a young resort nestled within a mangrove forest, with a jetty that extends out to a diverse and well kept house reef, at which we saw a dugong, trumpet fish, banner fish, clown fish, giant clams, and were also told you could see dolphins and turtles at the right time. The sunsets were outstanding and you could hear the songs of Imams echoing across the water (although the resort itself was protected from this noise). Our room was spacious and had great air conditioning. In particular, the bed was extremely comfortable. Vogelkopf is well furnished, and exactly like the pictures. We felt very comfortable and welcome, and ended up staying twice. The owners were very welcoming and helped organise us with a scooter, tour company and scuba dive group. Brezel was a great host and kindly helped us with phone difficulties, providing us with an SD card and aiding with international transfers. Corwyn and Pricilia also drove us into town to explore the local market and fresh produce and also kindly dropped us at the ferry at the end of our stay. Also, Frengklin is a fantastic chef and we always looked forward to our meals, which were included in the cost. This is was the best food we had in Raja Ampat. Special mention to staff Raka and Hadya, who had excellent spoken English and made us feel welcome.

We stayed in the over water bungalow. It was a delight. Beautiful views, comfy bed, nicely done. Glamping at its best. The short walk to shore to our private bath and shower was well worth the serenity and experience of the bungalow. The food was great. Esni, our hostess and snorkeling guide was attentive, fun, and knowledgeable of the snorkeling sites. Andy (our host) did a great job with the lodge and having great technology as well as fresh water to rinse your body and feet. All the crew were well trained and very helpful. Our boat crew were top notch. Great experience overall. Also, the reef right in front is great.

Ringo, Indra and the whole team is what makes this place special. This is truly a 5** homestay and the best I stayed in Raja Ampat out of 4 different locations. Fantastic and new bungalows with all facilities, modern shower and clean bathrooms enough for every guest. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere in the whole homestay and woooooowwww, the food is the best I had in all Raja Ampat. Healthy with many options and they can adjust to your needs. But again, the staff and people is what make this place extra special with all their help support advice and offerings they have. Hope to see the new Jetty coming in soon for amazing sunsets and see you soon.

Amfriwen Homestay se află pe malul mării în Yennanas Besir și include o grădină și o terasă. Se oferă la locație parcare privată. We enjoyed our stay at Amfriwen. The bungalow was clean, had a fan, a mosquito net and a little shelf space. The veranda and the view were amazing. The bathroom was outside and for us one of the better facilities during our stay in Raja ampat. The food was very simple but always enough. We enjoyed our stay and say thank you to the lovely family.

Thanks to Aron, the host, it was an exceptional experience during our stay. We've visited almost every location for snorkeling and diving on Raja Ampat (you should pay for the boat). We'd a very diverse menu and a true natural Papua environment.

We booked 6 nights in December at the Raja Ampat Eco Lodge. The lodge was fantastic! The bungalows are spacious, clean and beautifully appointed with a very comfortable bed, seating and dining areas and nice lighting. While there isn't air conditioning, the breeze coming from the sea and the large quiet fan made it easy to sleep at night despite warm temperatures. We didn't have any issues with mosquitoes or other bugs either. The food was delicious and varied each day. We loved the fresh juices, curries and vegetables. The house beach is beautiful and the reef has a good variety of fish. We even saw an octopus a couple of times! The owners are lovely and the service provided by the team is professional and kind.

Bridget and Jeff were amazing hosts and just genuinely nice and caring people. Far exceeded what I thought for a dive lodge on the edge of the world.

This is a homestay, basic room but extremely clean, Husna is an absolutely amazing person! Safe area, she gave us foot directions to a great dinner place. Husna has a wonderful place and is a great host. Great breakfast, refreshments throughout the day, a wealth of information about the area, flora and customs 😊.
