Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Shamrock Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel located in the very centre of Ireland, just 5 minutes’ walk from the restaurants, bars, and nightlife of Athlone town... Everything was amazing. Very clean, great breakfast and very polite staff. Parking was also a plus

This 4-star hotel has a Championship golf course and is 5 miles from Athlone. All newly reformed rooms at the Glasson Lakehouse have free Wi-Fi, TVs and a room service menu. Decor, staff and location were fabulous. Such a great hotel and an experience I would recommend anyone to try. Also you can bring your doggie which was lovely

The food was incredible. You could tell they source from farmers that are local. It was absolutely fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and charming. I got a new sport to get lost into. The room was gorgeous, it felt spacious, the room was clean and the staff kept it in top shape. O never had a want of towels, or anything. They were lovely.
