One of our favourite places where we stayed in Iceland! Probably the most friendly staff we encountered on our travels in the country. Food was outstanding and baked goods were incredibly good. Felt like you were brought into their home for dinner.

Very friendly staff greeting us and a warm, comfortable vibe in the lobby area made us feel at home quickly. We had a nice room on the 1st floor that was super cozy and nicely decorated - bed was very nice to sleep on :) Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and delicious.

Very nice hotel in the center of the city, just next to the harbour. The breakfast was excellent, room is very clean and nice. Overall very positive experience, would recommend this.

Helgrindur Guesthouse pakub majutust Grundarfjorduris. Peretubadel on terrass. Igas toas on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Kõikides tubades on istumisnurk. Great location while touring the Peninsula. Lots of space in this very modern, clean unit. We had to change credit cards for payment and host was very easy to communicate with and very helpful, We just stayed overnight but would be quite comfortable staying for longer.

Located in the country side, Hotel Stundarfridur offers accommodation 12 km from Stykkishólmur. This property provides guests with a terrace. There is also a restaurant and a shared lounge. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms inside the main building were large and well appointed. Although dinner and breakfast not included, these were reasonably priced and large, tasty portions. Should be a great location to see the Northern Lights just make sure you book a clear sky with your room ;)
