Blue Sky features free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Adams Peak. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Blue Sky turned out to be the perfect place for us during our stay in Nallathanniya. It is conveniently located just a short walk from the entrance to Sri Pada. There is a restaurant and small shop on the premises. The view was a mix of tea clad hills diving into a river valley with the peak of Sri Pada in the background. The owner, Mr. Nilantha, and his family were kind, generous and very accommodating. They helped us plan our walk to the top of Sri Pada, loaned us walking sticks and even sent us off with a thermos full of warm, local tea. We also enjoyed the conversations we shared upon returning. The property is convenient, comfortable amd good value. Parking is available on site if needed. The shower was strong with ample hot water. The bed was large and the room spacious. Our room included a small balcony with seating. The owners and staff are perfect examples of the warm, friendly Sri Lankan hospitality that we have come to know and love!

This was by far the best stay we had in Sri Lanka (probably in my life), and we haven't even finished our trip yet! First and foremost, the staff, Krishna and Najvy (I'm probably spelling that wrong) made this experience exceptional. They were so helpful, caring, and genuine. Krishna gave us service that was over and beyond like anything we'd had before. He's also charming and so funny, so be ready to enjoy his wit. Najvy is both as brilliant a cook as he is a concierge. He introduced us to more Sri Lankan dishes than we had encountered in our first week, and he was eager to share items that we'd only be able to discover if we had lived in the country for an extended period of time. His recommendations for activities perfectly suited our limited time, and he helped arrange our transport which ensured that we paid fair rates. He even packed us a breakfast for the sunrise hike at Horton Plains, and Krishna served us coffee to get us going. In addition, the rooms and grounds were all cleaned meticulously and well maintained. In short, this place is reason enough to visit Nuwara Eliya, and will be on our list of destinations when we return.

This was the perfect place to stay one could ask for. Started from the moment we reached the property. Claude and Chaminda were phenomenal in service. We started calling Claude as uncle after a few minutes due to his mild mannered and helpful nature and Chaminda is an exceptional cook. Uncle Claude was there with us for every need. Advising on what to eat and where to go. Overall a stay to remember and made us think about extending our stay but they had a booking already so we had to leave.

He also made me a nice breakfast early in the morning because I was going hiking. Very sweet. I only stayed for 1 night unfortunately, would definitely stay longer! This place is great.
