Excellent location. Exceptional attentive staff. Felt like being at a large family gathering during meal times. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend the Auberge Le Festival Todra Gorge. We were disappointed that we only rented 1 night.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Riad Bahammou. The structure was very nice and clean, a bit old-fashioned and castle-like but it had its charm! The rooms were spacious and very clean, with two double beds, generous and clean bathroom and even a balcony with a view! The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, they did everything to make us feel at home. They were extremely attentive to our needs and just genuinely kind.The dinner was delicious! On the day we stayed the menu was exactly what we needed as it was the moment when our parents had a bit of a crisis during our longer stay in Morocco and were craving something without too much spices but still very tasty with fresh herbs! We arrived later in the afternoon and left early in the morning so we could not use and explore the terraces and the facilities of the hotel but it looked impressive!

Situado a 18 km da estrada do Desfiladeiro de Dades, em Boumalne, o Auberge La Vallée des Figues possui um terraço com vista para as montanhas e vales. When we got to the place, I immediately noticed that this place seems really popular, and for good reason. Bob was a wonderful host, full of enthusiasm and very diligent. We were met with tea on arrival and he always made sure our needs were being met. We were asked ahead of time if we were going to have dinner with them and were glad we decided to. The multi-course dinner was good and huge for €15 per person. Breakfast was the typical Moroccan breakfast offering plus other stuff in the form of a buffet. The rooms are quite small and basic but clean and comfy. It is next to the road but the road is generally quiet even in the day and extra quiet from sunset onwards. We got a spacious balcony that opened up to a wonderful view of the gorge. We only stayed one night which seemed typical for many of the guests but this place seems to be run very well. Bob also explained how to get to the gorge in great detail. The beginning of the trail to the gorge is only a few minutes away on foot but you can also drive and park there. Bonus: Charlie the good girl is just the sweetest.

Ao chegar a cidade de Ouarzazate, achamos que não iriamos gostar da nossa estadia na cidade, porém o hotel por si só foi a atração principal. Acabamos ficando boa parte do dia curtindo as comodidades do hotel, que são exuberantes. O quarto era espaçoso e o staff era extremamente atencioso. O jantar e café da manhã foram ótimos, mas o que tornou a experiência melhor ainda foi o SPA, optamos por tomar fazer o banho tradicional marroquino e foi simplesmente maravilhoso.

O pequeno almoço, incluído na tarifa, é muito bom, com produtos frescos e variados, numa espécie de mistura entre Portugal e Marrocos. O terraço do riad é fantástico, com vista para a medina, que é a mais genuína e menos turística de Ouarzazate (que tem duas). Nesse terraço vive também o gato (doméstico) mais mimalho de Marrocos, o Stevie.

It was lovely stay, we booked here for last 2 days to finish our holiday, we paid extra to have pool and pool was amazing. Staff was so accommodating. We were bit apprehensive because reviews were very low.But there was nothing to fault , I would definitely stay again! Wish we knew on first night of possibility to have buffet dinner, because it was fantastic with such a great variety 😊 Perfect place to watch sunset/sunrise

This is probably one of the best. We arrived in sunset went through the lobby outside, and then the view just came at us. wow. Ahmed was really friendly and walked with us around the property and showed us the room which was really spacious and with the most amazing balcony I ever had. Everything about this place is cute. it is well decorated, the structure is authentic built on top of the hill and has a really nice garden. we just loved it!

If you are on a long journey across the country, desert or Atlas, this is a fabulous stop on your way for lodging or even just a cozy meal. The hospitality and family atmosphere could not be beat. The food was out of this world and enjoyed on a scenic terrace overlooking the river valley. There isn't really a town per say, but this establishment seems to be the anchor in the area. We spent the afternoon playing Uno on the terrace followed by a homemade dinner in a private dining room. We slept well and enjoyed the immediate hot water and nice bathrooms (the hottest water on demand of our whole trip!). We stayed in the family style room and it was perfect for our family of 2 adults, 1 kiddo. After a filling breakfast the staff gave us directions for a hike to collect crystals and geodes. Hammer included! We'll never forget our stay at Dar Isselday. Huge thanks to the lovely staff and management. So glad we found you. Can't wait to send our friends your way.
