Just WOW! Very quiet and very peaceful! The sea view is truly mesmerizing all day long and has spectacular sunrises! We have even been so lucky to see humpback whales passing by daily at only 100 to 200 meters in front of the hotel! The restaurant is great, and the food is excellent with a great à-la-carte menu with enough options to choose from with even a 3-course menu that changes every day. As we have eaten in the restaurant every evening, we can vouch for the fact that the menu does not get boring. As stated by other guests, some dishes require paying a half board supplement, however that is completely appropriate as the quality is appropriate. The room cleaning staff is amazing with a tidy room every day. Next, whilst having dinner in the evening, the staff even refresh your room and bed + leaving a lovely local chocolate treat! But what stands out the most, that is the staff!!! What an amazing staff La Maison d'Eté Hotel has! Impeccable service, very kind and very helpful! It is due to the staff that this hotel is checking all the boxes! To all the staff, thank you for making our stay very memorable! From the hotel reception, Reema, being extra-ordinary polite and courteous, to the cleaning staff doing an outstanding job, the staff at the beach being very helpful to all the kind staff in the restaurant and bar! This tropical hideaway in Poste de Flacq offers luxurious air-conditioned suites and villas with Indian Ocean views. It has secluded beaches and the exclusive Le Barachois floating restaurant. Fantastic 5* resort! Our junior suite was clean and spacious and conveniently located next to a swimming pool. The hotel is 25 years old, but it is kept in a pristine condition. There are a lot of top-class amenities and a number of high-quality restaurants — we liked every dish we had during our stay. Both swimming pools are exceptional, and there is a wine cellar and a sauna. Above all, we enjoyed a library. You literally have to go for One&Only, which is in a totally different price range, to (slightly) beat Prince Maurice when it comes to the quality of the facility. Senior staff members in WhatsApp concierge service (such as Imtiaz, Yash and Phoung) are qualified and helpful with reservation of restaurants and activities. When our return flight was cancelled due to a strike, they managed to prolong our stay for one night — despite a short notice and low availability during high season. We specifically looked for a hideaway resort, hence we enjoyed the distant location of Prince Maurice and absolute silence at nights. Those looking for nightlife and Mauritian street vibes should consider hotels located in the coastal towns.

The moment we step into the resort, we were warmly greeted by Nishi. She was always there for support and help throughout out stay. The breakfast lady making egg benedicks was very pleasant every morning. Cheers for both of them.

Located in Belle Mare, SeaSense Boutique Hotel is a 5-star beachfront property with sea view rooms. The Adults-Only resort boasts a heated infinity swimming pool, a fitness center and a spa. I liked and enjoyed absolutely everything about this hotel. People who work in this hotel are the sweetest human beings I have ever met! I had some small situation when I did not feel well bc of sunburn, and the way how I was treated and everyone took care of me was incredible. Food is pure heaven! The hotel has a calm very luxurious atmosphere and when it comes to design, it is just stunning. I felt like I am living in a dream and I cannot wait to come back :)

Seeing in our travel period the occupancy was under 20% we stayed a week and a big thanks to all the staff.Without them no hotel no hotel is anything! We were greater daily by the breakfast team with a wonderful breakfast buffet! Many thanks to Julie,Yasmin,Jessica,Bandana and our Chef Moonsamy who probably makes the best omelette we have tasted! The evening restaurant team and bar always made sure everything was fine with a 5 star rotation buffet menu! Special thanks to the Chef Sanguy who always had a smile for us and a small story! The whole kitchen team was fabulous! The hotel has many features and we enjoyed the beaches there and the pool! The rooms are spacious and the housekeeping crew with the floor butler looked after everything perfectly! Front office staff were very professional with concierge and the gardeners look after the property so it was a pleasure to enjoy the nature! I can recommend this hotel to travelers who want to relax and enjoy sophisticated food and service! My wife and son will be back and thanks to all involved to make our week stay memorable!

Offering free boat trips to Île aux Cerfs Island, Tropical Attitude is an adults-only, beachfront hotel in a garden with coconut trees. The room and the view were amazing, perfect retreat if you're looking for peace and privacy. Shoutout to the entire team for a great service!

Surrounded by sandy beaches and casuarina trees and located on the edge of a beach front lagoon, Veranda Palmar Beach Hotel offers guests air-conditioned rooms with surrounding views. The location of the hotel is perfect, it has the most beautiful beach just a few steps from the room. People are incredibly nice and friendly, always helpful, and really go the extra mile to make the guests happy. I got treated like a princess and the employees of this hotel are people I will never forget! Dj and live music at night were super nice. Many options for water sports and activities. I will definitely come back :)
