I was very happy with my entire stay. ( 10 nights ). Room was excellent. Location very convenient. Bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it yo others.

We stay here every time we come to Picton. It has location location location! It also has lovely comfortable spacious clean rooms. The breakfast is generous and delicious and the staff are always delightful.

The Portage ligger bara 15 minuter med båt från Picton och erbjuder rum med egen balkong eller uteplats och fantastisk utsikt över Marlborough Sounds.Du kan koppla av vid utomhuspoolen, fiska från... The hotel is under new management and I could not fault it. The staff were welcoming, attentive and super friendly. The reception and restaurant area looked newly renovated and was modern and fresh. My meal in the restaurant was very tasty. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I slept well. And the General Manager very kindly dropped me back to the start of the QC track in the morning. Plus the sunset view from the bar is breathtaking. Don’t be put off By the bad reviews - the new management seem to be doing a fantastic job!
