The food at the (only) restaurant up there was delicious, but it’s not included in the price. In order to have this remote and calm location, you should be aware of the steep and bumpy road to get there. We did it with a regular rental car and it was okay, but we would recommend to do the first ride at daylight.

Casa Guardia Panamá is located next to the beach in El Farallón de Chirú, 140 kms from Panamá City. At Casa Guardia you can choose between rooms, suites and the entire villa. I have traveled a lot in the world and I have never felt so immediately welcome . Tony and his family made sure we had a good time. Property is immaculate and the food is sooo good. Five stars everyone!

Jason, a local guy was available for all kinds of information, about trails, local transport and was very helpfull with technical issues with our SIM card. On the last day of our stay in El Valle, we ended up hinking La Silla to see the sunset with Bret and Jason, which was great.

Located in Valle de Anton, 28 km from Playa Blanca, Apartamentos Paseo Suites El valle features free WiFi access and free private parking. Very clean, well equipped, nice area.

Gave me lots of information and showed me few rooms. My room was basic but cozy and very clean. The hammocks on the second floor with the view made my stay perfect. Place to relax and enjoy some quiet time after a hike. Lots of restaurants and super markets downstairs and in front of the hotel. Nice location. Bus station.
