Boasting a garden, La Villa Kazuera is situated in Cilaos. Open since 2016, the property is within 4.4 km of Piton des Neiges. The hotel provides a shared lounge. we stayed here for 3 nights and couldn’t be happier about it. I was pregnant so we didn’t want to do a multi-day hiking tour. Instead we used this great location to do different day-hikes from Cilaos. The property is brand new and clean! You can see that the two brothers take care of it as if it were their baby. No breakfast but the kitchen is well equiped to make a nice breakfast and to pack a lunch.

Set in a garden with a heated swimming pool, this hotel is located in mountainous Cilaos. The hotel offers a hot tub, a sauna and spacious rooms with a flat-screen TV. We had a fantastic stay. Friendly staff, great rooms, location and excellent pool to relax at the end of our long hike. Definitely recommend!

Meeting our hosts and their warm hospitality was a great privilege. They have invested much in this property and a real highlight for us us was to enjoy dinner with them, the table d'hote. We can't speak french but this turned out to be a very enjoyable evening for all of us - both using google translate. We learnt much from Reunion also. The weather was kind to us and we could hike to La Chapelle the next morning. It is in a quite part of Cilaos with of course the Piton des Neiges towering above the town

Free breakfast is bonus even it is only jam and butter (with juice, coffee, tea or cocoa), to have some cheese or ham would be nice, but for one night stay it was good enough and tasty with small piece of water melon.
