Set in the heart of Piran Old Town just steps away from the seaside promenade, Second Life in Piran - Hotel Zala offers free WiFi access. We ended up at Second Life at the last minute after a bad experience at another hotel in Koper. It was a very pleasant surprise, everything was perfect. Friendly and helpful staff, large and functional room, super clean, excellent breakfast. It's the best place we stayed during our 3-week trip in Slovenia.

Enjoying a panoramic position over Portorož, Villa Bellevue is just 200 metres from a sandy beach. The villa houses an indoor swimming pool and 2 saunas are available all the time-all year. The location is great, but keep in mind you need a car or are fit enough to climb the hill. I really loved just enjoying the view while lounging next to the pool. The grass by the pool was one of the lushes grasses I have met in a long time - it was really nice walking barefoot and enjoying the greenery while taking in the seaside view.

Everything was excellent! Being greeted by Nina at the entrance of the hotel was already a great start and it just got better. The hotel is small with a very caring and attentive staff, who go out of their way to meet your every need. Breakfast was great: lovely fresh croissants, cold meats, bread, cereals, nuts and scrambled eggs and pancakes on request (included in the price, not extra). Add fresh orange juice to that. The room was spacious, very clean, modern and well equipped with electrical sockets. The electrical outlets also have a USB C and USB A socket. Minibar is well stocked and the water is free. Location is very good, just five minutes from anywhere (the coast, a fabulous bakery, etc)
