Well set in the La Medina district of Tunis, Dar el médina is located 17 km from Salammbo Tophet Archaeological Museum, 400 metres from Dar Lasram Museum and 500 metres from Kasbah Square. We had a wonderful stay in this very beautiful hotel with very kind and helpful staff. If you ever find yourself going to Tunis, make sure to stay here. It's so worth it!

We stayed for a short time but the staff of the hotel made everything to make it a nice stay for us. The hospitality was top. They were attentive when we had a taxi picking, dropping us. The reception personnel was very kind. And there was coffee served in the lobby even though we left very early in the morning, was happy to have that :) The location of the hotel was also good.

The location is very convenient when you plan to visit the arcgeological sites of carthage (ca 30min by foot) or the medina of Sidi Bou Saïd (ca. 10 min by foot). After visiting the sites, don't forget to try the indoor pool and Hammam. We enjoyed the time here so much, especially the amazing breakfast

Everything was perfect. Staff was kind and attentive. (They offered me a room with a balcony, and phoned me as soon as I entered the room to check if everything was fine. They also spoke to me in a timly manner to see if there was anything they could do, for example lending a wine opener.) The location was unbeatable. The facility was traditionally decorated yet modern and clean. I have already booked my next stay in January.
