Well set in the La Medina district of Tunis, Dar el médina is located 17 km from Salammbo Tophet Archaeological Museum, 400 metres from Dar Lasram Museum and 500 metres from Kasbah Square. The hotel staff were very pleasant and polite. The room was very clean and tidy, the breakfast was delicious and the hotel is only 20 minutes from the airport.

Here is an example: I accidently dripped some sauce on my short and the server went quickly into the kitchen and brought back a cleanser that took the stain off. There was a welcome basket of local fruit that was greatly appreciated and a thank you gift on check out (a locally made pottery dish).
