Good continental breakfast. Breakfast room is very pleasant overlooking the Sheboygan river and river walk. Hotel is located right on the riverwalk so you can walk to lake Michigan and the north pier area from the hotel. Beautiful walk. It is within 2 blocks of 3 very nice restaurants (Trattoria Stefano-celebration type restaurant-make reservations. El Ritrove Naples style pizza restaurant, and Field to Fork for a premium lunch). Easy parking, clean nice rooms. We had a river view. Nice.

Nice view of Lake Michigan. Our king size room was huge. It had a separate area with a large couch and ottoman. There was a desk and good lighting. The bathroom was very nice and had a heat lamp which we used each day while taking a shower. The front desk and breakfast staff were very nice and accommodating. There was a nice man out in a golf cart picking up people during breakfast and taking them back and forth to the breakfast building.

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and we had a nice view of Lake Michigan. It was wonderful being able to walk to the convention center, which has a Starbucks and a Metra stop, without going outside. We were also within walking distance of Soldier Field, the Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum, the Adler Planetarium, and multiple public transit options. Overall, a great place for our family to stay on our recent vacation.

The stay at the hotel was fantastic! Public transportation (bus & metro) are available all the time and allow you to get to Downtown Chicago while having a nice view of the area, even when the hotel is not close to the city center. Lake Michigan is 2 minute walk away from the hotel. The area is surrounded by stores and restaurants. Facilities are super clean, breakfast is really good and staff is 100% friendly. Super recommended.

Wonderful experience in an extremely well kept historic hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful & the room copy of the book on the hotel helped improve our experience greatly. Our room in the tower offered beautiful views of Lake Michigan. On site paid parking was a convenient enhancement since we arrived by car. Our room included a refrigerator & coffee maker.

This hotel is 1350 feet from the Downtown Milwaukee Amtrak Station. I walked to the station in the morning and took a train to Chicago. I took a train back to Milwaukee and walked back to my hotel room. I also walked about one mile to Lake Michigan from this hotel. A beautiful walk while taking in historic architecture, The Milwaukee River, and a wonderful lakeshore park.

We loved it all! Our jacuzzi room overlooking Lake Michigan was just wonderful! We slept so well and enjoyed the mattress so much we took pics of the brand tag and are looking for one just like it for ourselves. The breakfast was awesome too, again overlooking Lake Michigan. First trip to Mackinac Island, and when we return we'll be staying at Breakers Resort!

We stayed here two years ago and really liked the place. We were back in the area, and were excited stay at Terrace Bay, again. The back-of-the-hotel rooms are now updated, to include a wall of windows looking onto Lake Michigan's Little Bay de Noc! The restaurant has a wonderful menu and great staff. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The Hotel is so beautiful. Being able to see Lake Michigan from our room is so peaceful. The Hotel staff is so friendly and go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is a great experience. I would highly recommend staying here. This was my 2nd stay and I look forward to many more stays at the Hotel.

Very accommodating and welcoming staff. Beautiful lobby and rooms, affordable and in close proximity to Lake Michigan. Coffee/Hot cocoa anytime and many options in vending machine. This was my favorite hotel I’ve stayed at and I am definitely looking forward to coming back!

The view was great. We had a balcony overlooking Lake Michigan. We didn't know at booking but the views from the side would also have been nice and saved us a little money. The hotel provides beach towels, which was a nice bonus so we didn't have to use our own.

Location is great. Close to lake Michigan and chesterton. Quiet safe location. Hotel was clean. Beds comfortable. Loved the private balconies and the lake was amazing. We watched turtles and the birds in the evening. Cant wait to come back

The property was very spacious and had an amazing view of Navy Pier and Lake Michigan. It’s located right in the middle of everything so it’s a short walk away to wherever you need to go. It was very clean and quiet. We had a great time.

Peaceful place by the lake Michigan, hour drive with metro to Downtown Chicago. Nice hotel, beautiful room, great bed, really lovely place to be. Evanston is very safe and beautiful town with everything tourist would need.

The location was wonderful, right across the street was Lake Michigan and Navy Pier. Rooms were large and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel since you really can't beat the location.

Wonderful hotel right on Lake Michigan. We had a top 5th floor large King Suite with a fantastic view. Great staff, very clean interior & grounds. There may be less expensive hotels but none better.

Very beautiful location right on the shore of lake Michigan! Hotel was beautiful very well maintained, clean and comfortable! The indoor/outdoor Hot tub was the highlight of our stay.

The property in a good location near all needs. View was great of the Lake Michigan. The staff was friendly and professional, and rooms were clean. It was an all-around very nice hotel.

The Hotel is beautiful inside and historical. It is in the Loop and has many business surrounding it for meals and sightseeing. Has a beautiful fountain in front of Lake Michigan.

Amazing views of Lake Michigan. Proximity to beach and pool. Cannot give a 5/5 because of a few nagging issues that should be very easy for the management company to fix.
