All of the staff were lovely and super helpful. The Nam Dong park is just a 15-20 minute walk away and had lots of activities and really good food, and there are lots of walks to be done from the lodge. We wish we could have stayed a couple more days!

The former residence of a prince, Angsana Maison Souvannaphoum Hotel is a colonial-style mansion featuring both Laotian and French design elements. An outdoor pool, spa treatments and lovely rooms with free Wi-Fi are available. The hotel was wonderful. It was even better than expected. Great location. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. We really loved the character of the hotel and the salt water swimmingpool. The restaurant was fantastic and staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful rooms. Near downtown but in a quiet green area. There were great restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.

The resort also features an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and free bicycles for rent. This was our last stop of our two week holiday in Cambodia and Laos! The staff here were amazing! They were really helpful and more than happy to book yours for us! They had a free shuttle bus into the town and we could rent mopeds and bicycles from the hotel!

There were so many activities for the kids, they loved it (and so did I because I got to relax and read my book!). Staff was also excellent, very accommodating. Food was fresh, vegetables coming from the lodge's organic garden.

Guests can use the hot tub, or enjoy mountain views. Amazingly beautiful location by the river, quiet (though we did hear some loud music coming from afar 🤪), we were the only customers so we had the swimming pool for ourselves (and everything else actually 😅), the kitchen looks like a western castle from the middle Ages with a touch of orientalism (Marroccan). I've seen the most beautiful furniture at Le chateau oriental and our cupboard looked like it came straight out of a Grimm tale. We enjoyed the balcony and the bathroom had a bathtub as well as a shower room. The room was spotless. Staff were absolutely delightful. We were treated like princesses. I recommend the elephant activity: you get to feed, brush and wash the elephants and the staff are very helpful. A dream place for sure.

A variety of popular activities are available in the area around the accommodation, including trekking, mountain-biking as well as Mekong river cruises. We had a fantastic stay at Rosewood. We were able to experience this wonderful place for a longer time (6 nights). The staff was absolutely exceptional and made this stay feel like a second honeymoon. The place in itself is heaven, and all activities we did were top notch (the Mandalao elephants, the city tour and the sunset cruise). The room decoration and architecture from Bill Bensley are wonderful. We want to extend our sincere thanks again to the team for all these efforts to make this trip exceptional and for their kindness.

Perfect for relaxing at all times of the day. It’s a very tranquil setting just 2 minutes by boat into the heart of Luang Prabang. The staff are great and really helpful. The bed is very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Breakfast was excellent, offering cook to order eggs, as well as fruits, breads, and noodles. Will definitely stay here again.
