Bar was understaffed and therefore service was extremely slow. Best to order 30 minutes before planning to enjoy the drink!

There was a power outage on the last day that affected access to the rooms, and the checkout process. Otherwise the stay was great.

We loved the Al Hamra location, with access to the Al Hamra Mall, and the Golf Club. The room was spacious and comfortable for myself and the family, and the staff were very welcoming. The Valet team was exceptional and very professional. The breakfast also offered a good variety on offer. We will definitely visit again.

Food variety literally drops the entire experience. It was to an extent that we regretted paying half board for 5 pax approx AED - 150/- each and could have easily gone to one of the nice restaurants in Al Hamra Mall and still would have ended up paying lesser amount for better food quality and something of our own choice. Live stations were missing for dinner, very basic dessert selection, food taste was ok nothing too great or something that would make you want to go for a second serve.

Location, facilities, beach area and the amazing staff who would do their best to make adjustments for you whenever and wherever possible. Pets are allowed in most of the areas was also an added advantage.

had issues with toilet and had to wait a long time before it was finally fixed. shower heads fall down as soon as you switch on the water (right on your head). extremely long wait for in room service. very poor Wi-Fi when you only have signal close to the door! fully equipped kitchen with nothing but 2 mugs in it, even have to pay to cutlery

The buffet breakfast is “Ok”, and probably the only thing that the venue scores averagely. Food gets a bit tired, but if you’re an omelette fan then there is a fresh cooking station which it great.

Really lovely sized apartment (we took the 1 bed suite and it was ideal for a family of 4) in a perfect part of RAK - 30 seconds to the Waldorf Hotel and a 5 min drive to the Al Hamra Mall. 1 bed suites have - separate master bedroom with on suite (yes there is a door), large lounge, guest toilet & large kitchen. If you have Privilee it becomes a 9 out of 10 as you suddenly get full access to the Waldorf facilities, kids club, pools etc. Staff are super friendly and engaging.

The property seem outdated and needs a proper refurbishment. The faucets were falling off, the mirrors look old and rusted. Breakfast options were decent but could have been better.

Some sound-proofing of doors needed, they made too much sound and disturbed guests in other rooms of the suite. They CHARGE significantly for cutlery in the suite - even for a plate & a butter knife. Should make an exception for guests asking for minimal cutlery. Choice of food items in breakfast can be improved.

Good location, great secluded beach, nice pools. Suite was huge and very comfortable, more than enough for 4+1 guests. Breakfast was average, could have been better.
