We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesOur family room was spacious but could have used more seating. The "kitchenette" was a counter, cupboards, mini fridge and a sink, but was not equipped with anything other than a few drinking glasses. We were expecting to be able to prepare light meals and had to purchase utensils to do so.
We had the very best view from our balcony of the pool area and especially the bay. The sunsets were gorgeous! We saw paragliders, boats, birds, turtles, and many happy people enjoying the resort's lovely pool area. There was a mall conveniently located within walking distance which included restaurants, a movie theatre, and grocery store. We appreciated having the breakfast buffet included to start our day.

FranceI expected to swim on the beach just in front of the hotel but was told the sea was not clean, which was very disappointing. (There is no private beach) It is supposed to be a 4* hotel but it deserves 2. Mattress was very old and uncomfortable. I love music but i did not appreciate the music at the pool area, it was loud and not good (not everyone loves “pagode” in Brazil!)
Location and view from the room were very nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. We could check in earlier than planned, which was a great surprise. Good breakfast and buffet.

ArgentinaI have coeliac disease (strong autoinmune gluten intolerance) and wrote the hotel about it beforehand. They said the would let the kitchen know (for breakfast). On the first day the kitchen manager approached our table, which was really nice and appreciated, and explained they may have cross contamination in the kitchen. She offered packed gluten free bread. I think a 4 star hotel can and should do better than just GF bread. The regular breakfast was amazing & full of options, the gluten free was limited to GF bread or the fruits that were in the same buffet that the regular stuff. We did appreciate the gluten free bread, but still believe this is something that could be improved. Angra dos Reis is small and yet does have a couple of GF bakeries, I trust this will help to evaluate options and inform the staff better. There were no gluten free options in the hotel restaurant so we couldn't dine there.
The pool is amazing and faces the bay, the outdoors are just as shown in pictures. The location is OK, next to a shopping mall with a supermarket in it. It is not in the town centre, yet only a 20 min walk or 5/7 min Uber from the pier. Staff really helpful and friendly at all times. Perfect drinks by the pool. Available boat tours from the hotel.

United StatesWe think that the service at the pool could be Better, so we could stay there longer. We didn’t like waiting for one hour at the restaurant, for just a marguerita pizza. After that time, when we got the pizza, the dough was not baked enough. We thought that, considering that the dinner was a self service buffet, could be better just saying that was not possible to do the pizza.
We did like the location. A beautiful area ! The breakfast is very good. The scrambled eggs were perfect cooked, the cakes really delicious. A very very good coffee . A good start for a nice day. The pool area is very nice and relaxing.

United KingdomOur request we’d booked well in advance wasn’t filled and we had to remind the staff multiple times to help us out. The food was also extremely overpriced and not great value for the price you pay. Room walls are paper thin, can hear everything in the corridor. Some sun beds are broken and on the first day we had to wait an hour for our food.
Nice swimming pool and the waiting staff were lovely.

ChileThe hotel is quite focused on domestic tourism, not up to standard for a more international traveler. At the price charged, I found it poorly managed with several, bothering, easy-to-solve little details. Most of the staff only speak Portuguese. The restaurant and bar service didn´t meet expectations.
The hotel has good facilities: a nice pool, and pleasant views. Overall, the infrastructure is quite acceptable, especially if compared to other options in town.
