Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe gym area was rather small, but had the equipement I needed. The location was close to the airport and the falls, but the pool looked out onto the roads, which was a bit less nice.
I really like the breakfast, the rooms were nice and spacious and the pool had lots of space. The food at the evening buffet was also really good.

United StatesNo complimentary water? This should be a must, at least 2 a day, shame on you! The food was not great. We arrived the first day with no buffet available so we ordered à la carte. Our dishes weren’t edible, My wife’s risotto was swimming in oil and my chicken gorgonzola was so salty my apple watch warned me that my heart rare was rising. Every other day at the buffet the eggs were cold. The water pressure in the shower was low and hard to get hot water.
Good location to the foz do iguaçu and shopping. Big place and easy to get around. The service was very nice. Everyone was helpful.

BrazilIt's my second time in the hotel, and the place remains pretty good! Absolutely comfortable bedrooms, very enjoyable dinner, amazing pool and perfect steam room. Helpful and kind staff. A true resort, in the proper sense of the word, and an excellent choice at Foz do Iguaçu!

United KingdomSimple thing like shower gel was only available for people in suites, otherwise you get soap only (very common in Brazil to use soap, but not very common for people from other countries). Do not expect lotion or hair conditioner either (weird not to have at 4 star hotel). We had a noise issue on the first night outside the room (alarm like noise) and got offered change of rooms, which is nice, but, we got a bit less nicer room that we had previously booked (although no more alarm issues). Pool on Saturday was like kindergarten. Awful! After all day in parks, we had no chance to swim in it as kids were in kids pool as well as the main one. There definitely should be adults only pool in the 4 star hotel. Music at the pool should be reviewed. You do have people form many different countries, but we had to listen to SAME songs over and over again. Very pop Spanish songs (don't expect nice Bosa Nova or traditional Brazilian music). And the last...cocktails. If you charge for it, please make sure they are what they say they are. Pinacolada...probably the worst I ever had. Not even close to it (maybe the colour). It's like drinking rum with condensed milk for 32 Reais. I also called before arrival to mention that during our stay my husband and I will have our birthdays (exact days we stayed on). Nothing happened during dinner (I asked if at least for my husband's birthday something can be done). Only one person at the reception (young man) said happy birthday during our check out. No extra mile there..a bit upsetting.
Breakfast and dinner (we did not have lunch) was good. Plenty of options and always fresh. Staff were nice (not much English speakers, might be a tiny issue for people who do not speak Portuguese or Spanish).

BrazilI wish they have had more vegetarian options in the menu, especially protein. The gym is quite small
The territory of the hotel is quite big with beautiful peacocks walking around. Nice early breakfast which is great for a morning person or for those who travels with kids. The hotel also offers lunch and dinner (fair price for the good quality). The location is great: about 20 mins by Uber to the Falls. There’s also a tourist service center where you can book a tour or get any information needed. There’s an outdoor playground and a playroom indoor.

United KingdomThe drinking water at the hotel is very expensive (£1.50+ for a 500ml bottle). We couldn’t find a supermarket less than a 25 min walk away along the road, so we spent a LOT of money on the bottles in the mini fridge. As others have mentioned, a water fountain/ one complimentary bottle a day would be a good addition. Pool area wasn’t clean either time we went. Tables were a little mucky, loads of dead bugs and debris in the pool, poolside toilets were quite bad actually. Just needed a more regular clean in my opinion. Everywhere else in the hotel was spotless. NB there are very very few English speaking staff. You might get lucky to have an English speaker check you in but pool and dining staff do not speak English. Absolutely fine if there’s no problems as we should really learn some Portuguese, but may be a bit tricky if there’s an emergency.
Well known hotel a short taxi to the falls and the airport. Very grand and well built with all facilities - I especially liked the games room. Food was good quality and there was a good spread for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Might get a bit repetitive if staying longer than a few days. Very very family friendly, so great if you have kids. There were loads of babies.

Great location for visiting Iguazu falls both the Brazilian and Argentinian side. They have a helpful tour guide company on site who will help you with all tours and recommendations for restaurants etc. the breakfast has a wide selection with dairy free options also. The room was spacious with a nice balcony and very clean. The hotel areas were lovely including the lobby, outdoor pool and outdoor spaces.

Australiaif coming from Puerto Iguazu Argentina by bus you will likely have to walk 1.2 km from the border to the hotel as the border taxis aren’t interested in a small fare. The water pressure and water heating was terrible. I suspect the property didn’t design it well. At $90 USD a night I don’t expect a lukewarm dribble for a shower. also the restaurant was a brightly lit buffet really suited to families or conventions - not ambient at all.
super modern international resort with most of the facilities you would expect. Paulo on the tour desk was very helpful in organising me an English speaking tour driver to take me to Paraguay.

United StatesThe rooms facing the pool can get very noisy especially on weekend evenings and also the rooms can get very hot. It would be nice to have ceiling fans in the rooms although it does have an AC and the room will eventually cool down.. A table in the room along with a second chair would have been nice, especially since there is ample space. Complimentary bottle water (at least one bottle per guest per day) would also have been good. The water in the fridge (bottled, which you have to pay for) tasted fishy once it was no longer cold, so we ended up buying water from elsewhere. The hotel is very spread out so there is a lot of walking to get from one place to another. For us it was fine, but may bother others. The corridors to the rooms can get quite warm too.
The location was good being close to the Argentina Brazil border, which you will need to cross a couple of times if going to the Iguazu Falls and IGR airport. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast and dinner (we had the half board option) was very goid and had a lot of choices. The grounds are beautiful with a nice pool area. Love the peacocks and babies! The staff are helpful and friendly and understood some English. The gift store is small but nice and very reasonable. They do have a tour desk if you need it.
