Rooms 19 has an excellent location in the historic centre of Palermo, very close to Piazza San Dominico. Our room was small, but very well maintained, with a well-stocked shared kitchen area outside our door. The breakfast menu had ample choices, and a lot of variety, and our trays were always delivered with a smile! We could easily walk to most of the major sights of the city, and were delighted to discover a great Middle Eastern restaurant just across Via Roma from the piazza (it was a nice break from the classic Italian fare we had been having for 3 weeks!). Marta, our host, was very attentive and helpful, and made sure that our stay was very enjoyable!

A cautionary note for some travelers -- the staircases are quite steep and narrow. You need to climb four flights to the higher rooms.

Everything was as expected! We had a good time and the location was great. The owner was very helpful and quick answering questions and made sure the towels were clean. The room is a bit humid and not super super quiet, but it didn’t bother us at all. It’s great value for money and I would recommend it. There is even a washing machine and a stove, which can be nice though we didn’t use it (why would you in the city of pizza :))

Location central to all sights, good restaurants and shopping. Breakfast fresh daily and plentiful, with good coffee. Host Andrea was more than accommodating, always happy to provide accurate info for the best things to see and good restaurants to dine at. Precise and accurate instructions given to find the place.

As a last minute booking, you rarely get positively surprised. But this time, it has been a great experience. Particularly, Moira was extremely service oriented, professional, extra caring and nice. My room was just perfect. I travel to Rome extensively, and this is one of my top places so far!

Vincenzo and Anna were lovely hosts and welcomed us warmly. We enjoyed meeting them and their family for a drink on the night we arrived. The room and bathroom were very clean. The room had everything we could need.

The house is marvellous, It looked nice on photos but it was way better in reality. Location is off the general roads but well worth the layover. Should have booked several days to cozy up some more.

The check-in was a hassle as the phone Maps app didn't recognise the location accurately and small tiny roads and lots of houses made it difficult to go around the area to find the correct house. Luckily a neighbour drove his car to the correct location and we were able to follow him. It would be useful to put some signs up.
