How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The whole experience was... dare I say perfect? The front desk was smart and helpful. The bartender mixes cocktails like a champion. Everything was new, clean, hip, and comfortable.

Modern hotel with fun/trendy lobby and bar area. Rooms fairly small but met all needs and with very comfortable bed and dark enough to sleep well!

Rooms are sparce. There are no drawers for clothes, only enough room to hang 3-4 things. One soap for hair and body with no conditioner. No face cloths. A few small things would improve it.
The downstairs bar and lobby are very nice. Rooms are clean, and the bed is comfortable. The location is great for tourists interested in the old town area!

We booked a king room which turned out to be much smaller than we expected. There wasn’t much room for both of our large suitcases and had to use up every possible space to fit all our stuff in. The tv was very slow to work/unresponsive which could possibly have been down to dead batteries in the remote control but we didn’t stay long enough to enquire about it.
The beds were very comfortable and the many lamps in the room were great. I absolutely loved the shower which was huge with fantastic water pressure. We were on a long holiday staying in many locations and this was the best shower by far. Wifi was also very good. The location is fab, close to nice cafes & restaurants. Not too far from the train station but far enough to be away from all the dodgy people that hang around it! Do your research - you DON’T want to stay right next to the station!

Towels were worn out to the point of fraying - gives an impression the place is not clean and fresh even though the room was. Check in staff was not at all welcoming/friendly, the others were.

There is a Bar or Disco across the street that is very loud. Bring Earplugs.
Great Location. Everything is in a walks reach. It was clean and beautiful.

The rooms are quite small. Breakfast was annoying at times, as it was quite crowded (lots of people traveling for work and eating breakfast quite early), and since there is no designated dining room, you eat your breakfast in the hotel lobby, which is not comfortable -- tables are low and small, you sit in armchairs, etc.
The bed was very comfortable. The staff is friendly and young. Breakfast is good, with lots of options.

Reliable chain that met expectations for comfort, breakfast, and cost; excellent and quiet location near the principal Frankfurt foci of Römerberg and Hauptwache, and a short, convenient walk to Oper Frankfurt; lobby bar with friendly staff.

Only thing that I felt incomplete was only 1 rubbish bin provided which locate in the toilet whereas don’t have it in the room as make the guest inconvenient.

Stayed here a few times mainly because of its location close to old town. Although not a luxury hotel It is a good hotel with all general amenities . The rooms are not large but adequate although the bedside shelf on top of a tall slim safe is hardly big enough.
Breakfast lacks seafood option.

There was a strange smell in the hallway leading to my room. But other than that, my stay was very good.
It was centrally located and only 2 blocks from Romerberg. The check in process is simple, quick and efficient. the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating.

a double lock on the hotel room door would be appreciated. There doesn't seem to be a coffee area or kettle provided for hot water and beverages. Was told to go to the bar to request for hot water and it was served in a cup.

Excellent location. Nice room in a big hotel. Close to the centre of the Old Town of Frankfurt. Easy to walk everywhere or access public transport if needed. Friendly staff on check-in. Nice view of the city skyline from our room.
