The room was large, bright, and very clean. We had a lovely large window overlooking the river. The breakfast was extensive, well presented, and delicious! The desk staff were always helpful. It's a great place to stay, conveniently located and walkable to just about everything.

The on-site restaurant was not in service during our visit, which meant lunches and dinners had to be off-site. The breakfast meal plan cost was a bit on the high side, and while not as extensive as some of the other hotels we had while on vacation, nevertheless was both adequate and well presented. The main elevator experienced a problem and was out of service for two and a half days, but alternative elevators (usually for staff) were convenient, clean and available.

Room was clean, spacious (as hotel rooms go), bathroom exceeded expectations (shower, tub, roomy). Location was convenient to both my event meeting place as well as exploring the town, shopping and dining. Good breakfast selection. Hotel staff were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and helpful.

The staff at the reception were a bit sloppy - well meaning perhaps, but not sharp. In the end it was not a problem, but detracted from good features of the hotel (room, location). The breakfast buffet had the usual diverse options that one finds in a German hotel - pastries, bread, cheese, vegetables, jams, hot food etc. but somehow was not entirely up to the mark. It seemed to be slightly lower quality than would be expected. The rain shower was misaligned and a lot of the bathroom got wet when I used it. The secondary shower head was fine, and the bathtub was a plus.

The room was excellent - I had a fourth floor room, with a little balcony facing the river. Super views of the Alte Brücke (see attached photos). The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, pleasant. The hotel was very well situated - close enough to walk easily to the Städel Museum across the river, or to the old town a few streets away. Cab ride to the hotel from the main station took 10 min and cost 12 euro.

The design of the buffet made it hard for a shorter person like me to reach certain things and the hot items were not really hot.

The location was great and so was the view from my window on the 5th floor. I overlooked the Main river. It is an easy walk to the old town and the cathedral and there are places to eat nearby. There was a good variety of items for breakfast and the staff were very good about filling it up and clearing tables. The room was spacious and comfy, with both a tub and a shower :-)

wifi wasn't the best

The room even though small was very nice, the beds were quite comfortable - pillows too. The bathroom was big and nice, they even had a makeup mirror and rituals products. The view is quite lovely over the river, they had big thick curtains to make the room dark, and the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts ive ever had. reception open 24/7, close to city center. would stay again when in Frankfurt. lovely hotel

The only issues we had were with the bathrooms: In two of the rooms the water from the shower stall leaked out on to the floor even though the glass doors were closed firmly, and the wall of the bathroom facing the room is made of textured glass, so if someone uses the light at night it can be disturbing to others who are sleeping.

This is a large posh city hotel, the best part for us were 3 rooms directly overlooking the Rhine river, one with an actual balcony! Amazing location, steps from the Old Town, and lots of restaurants, bars, and coffee houses, yet we didn't find the hotel noisy in any way. Breakfast, which was included in the reservation we made, was tasty and plentiful. There was also all day coffee and tea in the lobby which my family loved. We also were able to use the free parking just behind the hotel.

It seems more like a quick in and out hotel … no real atmosphere or an area where you would like to linger.

Location is great to explore the area around the Römer city hall, lots of lovely patios. The proximity to the boat cruises on the Main River is also fantastic.

The front rooms have great river views but unfortunately this comes with traffic noise. If you’re used to city living that might be ok. If not a courtyard view room would suit better.

Excellently situated next to River Main and a short walk to the Altstadt and across the bridge to old Sachsenhausen. Very comfortable twin room with a bath as well as a shower. V.good range of items for breakfast to set you up for the day. English speaking staff very helpful. Quick taxi service for getting to the airport in the early morning.
