How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. Couldn't fault the room. Very clean and spacious. Very comfortable large bed. Lovely roof top bar and excellent choice for breakfast. I would definitely staff here again.

Great location, super clean, very comfortable bed, and awesome shower. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They gave us a complimentary bottle of Prosecco one day, too. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

This hotel is exceptional, the rooms are lovely and very well cleaned. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, with complimentary drinks given on our arrival at their roof-top bar. The location is perfect, with everything in walking distance. A perfect stay!

Amazing boutique hotel in the centre of Seville. Staff super nice. They offer me a bottle of Prosecco in the arrival. The hotel has a small pool and lounges.

Finding it in our car. The roads are very very narrow and lots of one way streets. A very stressful start to our holiday.
Lovely central hotel. Staff very very good indeed. Great rooms. Garage valet parking.

Nothing, all was perfect
The location and the kind staff were the winning points for us. Rooms are immaculate, really nice bedding, the ammenities were top notch, we enjoyed an evening out on the terrace upstairs, location is faultless, you are right in the middle of everything. But the best part was the staff who couldn’t do more for you. We arrived by car and the gps apps indicated a route that was impossible to take for a car larger than a small hatchback, and we had a bigger car. It was a total nightmare, but we called the hotel and they sent their driver to help. He managed to close the traffic for us to be able to reverse on a one-way street and get out of the nightmare, he then guided us on wider streets to the hotel, parked and charged our electric car. The staff at the reception was in permanent contact with us via whatsapp. Really wonderful people and I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Room was lovely however on a very noisy street, which did disturb our sleep.
Location was fabulous, walking distance to all sites and restaurants. Staff were very welcoming and answered all of our questions. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and great coffee too. Rooftop and pool area were amazing - the views and sunset wrre stunning!!

Nothing! Loved our stay.
Great location near the main attractions and fantastic bars and restaurants within walking distance. The rooftop pool area was much larger than it appears in the pictures and was a welcome relief during the recent hot weather. Our room had a little balcony overlooking the lively square which was fun to look out onto, but with the double glazed doors and air conditioning it was very quiet at night. Because it was so hot, we used the large and comfortable foyer area during siesta when we wanted to get out of our room for a bit. The staff were lovely.

Not the property but be cautious about taking a car through those ridiculously narrow streets and getting it wrong!
Everything except the almost impossible gps instructions to drive to the hotel.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property
Reception staff were very welcoming and gave us very useful information. A special mention to Laura who was very helpful. Rooms were great and very clean!

The only negative experienced was that noise travelled between the rooms.
The staff, the amenities, the breakast - all excellent. Will stay here again definitely when back in Sevilla
