Though the location is a central and close to main tourist sites, the area was rough. Lots hustling, noise and shady characters in the street at all times of the day and specially at night. I had to pay extra for towels. They showed me that it is stated in bookings, but it was in an area not visible.

It was a nice renovated building with nice rooms.

The room and the pictures are not the same as it is advertised. There are wierd smells and it is not that clean. the location is prime as it 15 mins from the center, but the value for money is definitely not worth it

I was in room 316. The room floor was smashed… The window was so tiny and impossible to reach because at 3m height. The heating was NOT present in the room (even if listed on Booking) Toilets: the one without shower, a joke! Impossible to close the door without stepping on the WC! In general, I had different expectations because of the photos present on Booking…. You have me the worst room :)

The acces to the hostel is like in a very bad backway alley. No sign of the hostel. The staircase has tape to signal how low it is. The accescodes didnt work. We had to wait an hour. I have seen sstudent dormitories that are more accesible. The furniture is bad. The tiles are loose. The showerhead is not working well. Its cold and hard to get warm with a mobile heater.

Nothing, I wish we had few more nights to explore Madrid. Or at least one more night.

Great location, if you are traveling for accommodation and luxuries this might not be a fit for you, but if you are traveling for places with exploration, sightseeing and getting lost in the city in mind, this place hits the spot perfectly. Spotless bedsheets even if room is modest at best, everything is clean and well maintained, incredibly nice and helpful staff with more than enough paitiance for disorganized people like us.

I was really shocked when after paying almost €100 per day per room we were not given any single towel. And when we were trying to contact the administration office to enquire about this and other matters, they never answered no call no message no WhatsApp no nothing! Pointless giving the contact details to the guests and then not replying their messages. Extremely disappointing their customer service!!!

Guests in other rooms slammed doors and kept coming in and out. The room was clean but cold (it was 12 degrees when I arrived). Inside the room there is a small heater that was also working badly and there was no bed pillow but something that could not be considered as such. The area in the evening is dangerous, right below the house drunk people were shouting even in the middle of the night and smashing stuff. To be avoided!

No curfew Super noisy at night time - people talking loud and playing music after midnight. As the walls are super thin I was able to hear on the second floor if someone types in the door code on the ground floor. People banging doors as if they were alone at home. Small rooms, mine had a tiny window at the attic, thus hardly any day light. However I must say I did not feel unsafe.

Do not stay here. It is impossibly noisy overnight with banging doors and you can hear everything from the toilet in the corridor. It is grim. I booked for 3 nights and left after 1 - they refused to refund me for the nights I didn’t stay. There should be protections against people like this.
