Hard pillows, but I always travel with a small camping pillow just in case. I’m very short so I had to climb on the chairs to get things off the high kitchen shelves and to put the shade up and down. That may not be a problem for others.

Fantastic location and perfect for a solo traveler. It’s near grocery stores and major train and tube stations. There’s a pretty park across the street. The free washers and dryers meant I could pack lighter. I plan to stay again the next time I visit!

Window blinds need attention. Timber surfaces in kitchen area also need attention or replacement. The placement of the tv is not very user friendly. Tea, coffee and milk portions should be left in view, as I did not see them until later and would have loved a cupa when I arrived.

Liked the location. Bed linen was good quality. Studio was clean.

The room was a bit too warm with no a/c available. The top floor was very warm. Also 8 flights of stairs are somewhat challenging when carrying luggage and there is no porter.

We loved the location as it is easy for transport and the close proximity to great restaurants and pubs. The peaceful park opposite is lovely.

It’s a studio and the room is inky cleaned once a week — but staff says you can come to reception. I went and asked for a new towel and was told I have to carry my used towel (down three flights of stairs) to make the swap—therefore back UP three flights of stairs or else carry it around for the day. Not a useful system.

The location is fabulous. We love hearing the birds singing in the tennis court green outside every morning (it starts around 5AM in springtime, which is likely to wake you up, though).

Stairs are very high (no elevator) Shame that curtains are too light, sunshine as well as warm remain in the bedroom! It's good weather is forecasted, take a bedroom with air conditioner During the night some teenagers used to smoke their weed close the park and it smelt in the bedroom due to open window

The bed!!! Both sides were sunken and I could feel the springs in the bed. I had to sleep in the hump in the middle of the bed.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The apartment was very clean. Great little kitchen. I’d recommend bringing your own spices if needed.

There was air conditioning in the room, but even on the lowest temperature and highest fan speed it didn't seem to do a lot to cool it down. I was there in March/April so I'd be concerned about this in the summer! It would also have been nice to have had another armchair; I was fine when it was just me, but when my partner came to visit we had to trade off which one of us ate meals on the floor! Also, the table was quite small and not suitable as a workstation. The sink was awkwardly positioned in the corner of the kitchen, tucked back and slightly high up, which made washing-up challenging. The guest welcome pack said that studios would have either a separate freezer or a freezer compartment in the fridge, but this didn't seem to be the case in my room.

The property is in an absolutely fantastic location, in the heart of Bloomsbury and super close to Euston and Kings Cross, but set back in a quiet street that never felt busy or noisy. There are plenty of independent shops (including Gay's the Word bookshop) and restaurants around the corner on Marchmont Street, as well as a big Waitrose and other shopping/dining at the Brunswick Centre down the road. I was working at the Wellcome Collection and it was an easy 15-minute walk from the studios and back each day. Having weekly maid service was a huge bonus which I really appreciated! I stayed for 4 weeks and it was a massive help. The studio also had a ton of storage (shelves, wardrobes, drawers, closet) which was unexpected but welcome. The studios are very basic but clean, private, and comfortable.

The bed was very soft and the TV is positioned low down which makes it uncomfortable to watch when sat on the bed.

The street is very quiet and you can't hear anything from the main road. The room has everything you need and includes plates and cutlery. It's less than a ten minute walk to Kings Cross/St Pancras which is very helpful.
