The lobby on 8th floor is a bit inconvenient. On weekends the Hotel is booked by many indonesian families, so it might get a bit louder, and you can't use the pool on 8th floor.

Excellent location, quiet, but Malioboro street is only 100m away. Also many other interesting places are in walking distance. The breakfast is comprehensive. The room has everything what is needed.

There are not many choices of restaurant nearby, except the mall. It takes several minute of driving to get to a good location for food.

Breakfast menu had a reasonable variety of options. Location of hotel is on a very busy tourist street. It is also right next to a mall. The mall has several good restaurant.

We had a room facing to the surrounding houses, which was not nice. Poor noice protection - we could hear the neighbours form the other room.

In our room, there was a peculiar smell. The smell was not fresh. It smelled like the room was very humid and it was not used for a very long time. We tried to open the windows for a while but it didn’t help. Additionally, since the hotel was located in Malioboro, so we can hear the noise of people singing from the street.

The room was very spacious and the location was very strategic in Malioboro street. There were also many varieties of food for the breakfast and it tasted delicious. The staff were very friendly too.

I requested for 2 beds during booking but was given one big bed which was not comfortable for me (we were 2 single ladies). The first room (supposedly Executive Room) had a few fixtures missing in the bathroom. We managed to get another Executive room the next day with 2 beds which was much better. Also didn't like the fact there was no wardrobe & no iron.

The location was perfect...right in the centre of Malioboro Road, convenient for shopping & next to Plaza Malioboro where you can have lunch or dinner.

Don't want to nit-pick but on one day over the long weekend the breakfast buffet was not replenished. It happened once in 6 days and there were many guests. The window in the dining room had lots of children's handprints on it and I was the first person at breakfast so they must have been there a while. Most frustrating, I needed to extend my stay and the hotel refused to match the Booking.com price at reception. I duly booked on line at a lower price. The kind of illogical behavior I find annoying.

Location, staff are polite and the pool is handy in a very hot and humid city.

Thin walls as I could hear my neighbours when they closed the door/ talk

Location is great, right smacked in the middle of the popular Jalan Malioboro street (road closed to vehicles daily from 6-9PM; you might want to take note if you’re cabbing back), directly opposite Tugu Jogja that sells local snacks and a stone’s throw away from Yogyakarta station - which brings you to YIA in 35min (IDR50k) or 39min (IDR20K). Not to mention that there’re many eateries in the area, think Loko Cafe, Legend Coffee (3-5min away via motorbike), Sellie Coffee, Kenangan Kopi…. Room was clean and spacious, the front desk staff is well versed in English, polite and helpful. Did not opt for breakfast hence can’t comment on that.
