all clothes smells strange after 2 nights. all the house had a sick-like smell. and all a bit outdated. we did not like to use the old hot tun :-( all other things were fine :-)

This is a dream home! The views are incredible. The home is beautiful. It was everything we could have wanted for our stay in Borgarnes.

It was very warm inside the property, so warm that everyone woke up during the night, as soon as we got in we set all the thermostats in all the rooms to cold, we had to open all the doors and windows at 2:30 am to cool off. Very odd, might have been a temporary issue or might of forgotten a thermostat somewhere.

Amazing location, and really tucked away from anyone else, really comfortable beds, lots of facilities, with washer and dryer I was able to clean all my clothes on our last day in Iceland so got back home with clean clothes. Also was able to rise my car with the hose in the facility room. Cooked a full dinner on the hob and oven and both clean and worked well. The hot tub was nice and warm (bit too warm) but we didn’t follow the instructions on the wall to remove the lid as soon as you arrive to cool down, totally our fault but just a FYI for anyone else coming in.

The hot tub was a big disappointment. Jets did not work and the water was not very clean. Removing cover is a challange and securing it was dangerous. If cord ever broke and cover fell someone would get seriously injured. This tub should be taken out of service, fixed or replaced.

Beautiful and cosy countryhouse in a very nice location with amazing view. The jacuzzi was a big plus although it was outside and because of the weather we couldn't use it. Very clean and nicely decorated

The house is set in a beautiful landscape. The facilities are luxury and the heated floors are a bonus. The hot tub was ready to use as soon as we arrived and the beds are super comfortable. This is truly home away from home and I highly recommend this house. We hope to be back here.

Everything was perfect. The house was clean and the owner very helpful and fast to answer every question. The location is perfect for spotting the Northern lights as its in a small hill outside of the city. The jakuzi was a plus (although no bubbles). I would recommend.

No wardrobe space in the master bedroom (there is one but it is locked). Some minor maintenance needs doing (e.g. fixing a few light bulbs and switches). It would help to have a dishwasher in the kitchen if space can be found for one.

Absolutely spectacular location in the lava field. Very comfortable, spacious house with good facilities (the washing machine much appreciated after 6 days in Iceland without one...). Very pleasant living area, kitchen and bathroom. Giant hot tub with amazing views! A good base for adventures in the area and a great place just to spend time in admiring the Icelandic scenery.

FYI, the whirlpool jets do not work.

Ample space, great kitchen, beautiful views. Jacuzzi was very relaxing and everything was clean and comfortable.

The dryer did not tumble and therefore we left with wet clothes. We also noticed there were no spatulas for cooking, only one trash bag, and we also were not provided any full rolls of toilet paper for our stay. (We had two half rolls and one almost fully used roll. It was not enough for 4 people.)

The views were stunning, the location was beautiful and easy to find, the hot tub was relaxing, and the comfort of the place was great.
