The building where the hotel is located is simply amazing, and everything is perfectly maintained. The room is also very nice, and we loved the dual showerheads in the bathroom that work simultaneously. Definitely I’d love to go back.

Breakfast was included but we were charged 12 euros per egg when we ordered poached eggs. It is the first time we have ever been charged when breakfast was included. It lacked a good selection of cheeses and fresh fruit.

The room was very nice and the staff very helpful. The location was good in walking distance to the main attractions.

Nothing at all was bad or even moderate, but we would have loved it if this city centre hotel had had a small open air patio or courtyard to serve snacks and drinks. There are many small restaurants and bars in neighbouring streets, and many of the streets are pedestrianised with tables in the street so this was not a big deal.

The service in the lobby was excellent. Breakfast was good. The Hotel is very well situated and close to many of the main tourist attractions. The hotel has been refurbished recently and our room was extremely comfortable, very quiet and effective a.c. and a great shower in a spacious bathroom.

Nowhere to put anything! The room was smaller than I expected and our view was internal (I guess because we booked a "comfort" room.) The bathroom really had no space to put items or hang your towel. Tub was difficult to get in and out of. We had a small desk with 2 chairs, but my sister had a big desk and only one chair for the two of them. You simply don't spend much time there, but for the price, it was disappointing.

The hotel was beautiful and located in a great place. The breakfasts were amazing! Housekeeping women were very nice and came in often to clean, turn down, etc. Location was great for walking to dinner, old town center, etc.

The bathrobes and towels were a little threadbare, considering the price of the junior suite. I felt it was a bit mean charging extra for an omelette, and staff at breakfast were not as attentive as those at reception and in the lobby.

A grand hotel in every sense with friendly and efficient staff. Fabulous shower and very comfortable bed, with excellent quality bedlinen. Huge terrace! Kettle, coffee machine much appreciated, plus cups and mugs. A jazz bar/restaurant just around the corner was great.

This is not really a criticism but sometimes I wish for simple taps or light switches rather than the latest technological innovation.

An elegant hotel with an interesting history. The copious breakfast is served in a stunning ballroom. The rooms are very spacious and luxuriously appointed. The staff are incredibly courteous and attentive.

Make all water free since tsp water is not good to drink. Also, Antislip mat or grab bar in shower would increase safety. Bar menu a bit pricey: (8 Euros for a tonic to add to gin).

Do not try to park outside the hotel. You will only waste your time. It's impossible to find free spots on the streets. Use hotel parking.
