It was 10-15 min walk from the station. Easy to find and very close to the center. Staff were friendly. Hotel a bit old for my liking but comfortable.

This was the most we paid for a night during a 3 week trip to Japan and with it being advertised by Booking.com as a 4* hotel, we were pretty disappointed. The hotel is old, tired, in dire need of refurbishment and is very basic in terms of facilities and services. The photos looked great, hence we were disappointed upon arrival to find a tired and dank old place which smelled strongly of smoke throughout. Our room was OK, pretty small and basic (as is often the case in Japan), but dated and dimly lit with a window facing into a stairwell. We didn't feel we wanted to spend a lot of time in the hotel so were glad only to have stayed one night.

The location was OK being about a 15 minute walk or 10 minute tram ride from the station and alongside the river, the staff were very pleasant and accommodating, the hotel itself is serviceable for a one night stay.

The staff were very friendly, kind and accommodating. We requested for extra pillows and sheets and they supported us with it. Location was really good, walking distance to the main areas of Hiroshima, tram station near by, calm and quiet area. Very good value for money.

We had booked a smoking room, and the smell of smoke was worse than expected, also in comparison to other hotels that allow smoking.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, with a convenience store nearby and a tram stop in front.

The wifi was really bad. Practically not working so we had to use our data. The beds are not very comfortable. The pillows were hard and the aircon was kind of loud when we were trying to sleep.

This hotel was near enough to Hiroshima station - only two streetcar stations away. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. This hotel had a very old fashioned kind of vibe which was nice! Our room was also very spacious.

The wireless internet is really bad. There a lot of SSIDs, but no one works well inside your room. It could be be a perfect stay if the wirelless works better. Life is not a bed of roses.

This hotel is a bit decadent, what I find quite charming. Wood, stone, the interiors have a charming decoration but a bit worn out, like a Venice building. It`s as if you were in a Luchino Visconti movie. The breaksfast is really good, in a American buffet style, a person of the staff welcomes you and indicates a table, with a beautiful view of the river. Sounds quite charming and perfect, isn`t it? The room is old but the building “exterior” was renovated” I’m not 100% sure that I opted for smoking room “although in the room there was a sign of NO SMOKING” the room smelled of cigarette and old building! So you can imagine then that AC making huge noise… had guests loudly chatting “but that can be ignored” This hotel is the expensive one that I paid during my visit in Japan and I was disappointed of the quality of the room…. . I believe they could do some retouch /makeover! And as it was so hot, I could have a bottle of water in the room! Alas none! I hope they will take my feedback and look the bright side form it and make a decision to re-look the room…!

I couldn’t figure out the setting of the air conditioner (too cold, too noisy…). The location from the main station is not too far, but not very close either (when walking, it takes a few lights to cross). The windows were oriented to the main street, so the traffic noise was there.

Decent hotel in a rather “vintage” style. The price for a single room was very nice, I got everything I needed and can’t really think of anything special.

Please provide hand soap in the bathroom. The coffee machine in the reception wasn’t working and no facilities to make some in the room.

Basic but comfortable room with a nice view. Good value and handy location, walking distance from the main station, 10 minutes walk to peace museum and close to good bars and restaurants.

No free parking, and the parking is pretty expensive. No complimentary bottles of water, bad soundproofing, the room was very dark, and a lot of dust with the cigarette smell.

Very comfortable, great location, very clean. Best beds in Japan! Great choice for breakfast and very good value for money. Would definitely stay here again. It's 2 stops from hiroshima train station on the team and we got a bus near the hotel to the peace memorial. Tge Hotel was decorated very nicely, beibg very picky it was a little tired in places, but the comfortable mattresses and room space more than made up for it. I would happily stay again and would recommend to my friends.

Nothing really. I guess some snacks could be offered in the lobby to accompany the drinks but they were super helpful if you brought your own.

The staff were a dream, very friendly and accommodating. The room was perfect, warm and very comfortable. The location is also spot on, nothing I wanted to see was too far away. The coffee downstairs was exceptional and it was nice to grab a good alcoholic beverage in the evening.
