From the lobby, men and women are separated. The rooms are very spacious, and so are the showers. Overall, the stay was very enjoyable and comfortable.

The cabins are warm and take a long while to cool down. There is no way to control ventilation individually in each cabin.

Location is perfectly between two metro stations on the central (midosuji) line. Staff are excellent and most helpful. Best is the sento on the top floor.

You have to carry your luggage from the ground floor to the second floor where reception and the elevators are, but I do believe if you buzz the staff there is an employee elevator somewhere. Also there is no place to store your luggage except in your sleeping pod, if it fits (carry on suitcases yes, larger no). Otherwise you can keep it in the hallway of your communal floor. There is a small safe in the sleeping pod but not big enough for a laptop. I used the lock on my suitcase to secure larger valuables. But I felt very safe here.

The staff are friendly and helpful. You can store your luggage there before and after check out for free. The sleeping space itself is more spacious than I expected with enough room to open a carry on suitcase. I slept really well here, the bed was comfortable and the sleeping area was surprisingly quiet. The bathrooms were very clean with nice toiletries included (lotions and face care products as well). The communal women’s bath on the top floor was a highlight with a nice indoor hot pool and an outdoor soaking bath on a covered balcony for one person. Very peaceful and relaxing. The building is also totally separated men from women. The elevators are separate, communal baths, toilets, everything except reception and the ground floor working and eating area.

The capsule was very nice, plenty of space for some light traveling. There were usb sockets, so you could charge your phone without needing a converter. The onsen/bath place was very very nice, and super lovely to use

This was my first time staying at a capsule hotel in a long time and it was even better than I'd remembered! The capsules are comfortable and have everything you'd need for a short stay. The bathroom and toilet facilities are always spotless and the toiletries being provided is such a nice touch. The location, in the heart of Asakusa, is great for first time visitors to Tokyo and a great base to explore from.

Hotel Cargo was a great stay. Everywhere was spotless and I loved having a public bath upstairs to be able to unwind at the end of each day. The cabins also had so much space which made it really comfortable to be inside them. Location was also great - within 10 minutes of the main Shinsaibashi shopping street and the station. I’d definitely stay here again

The price difference from weekend and weekday was shocking when I needed to book an extra night. That was my only ‘meh’ feeling about it. But I liked the space so much I was happy to splurge for the Friday night rate

This place exceeded my expectation. I was happy to try out the capsule-like space and it was a very comfortable sized Demi-room (just couldn’t stand up in it. It was cozy, the extras like the pyjamas, hair and body cleansers, the public bath, the privacy (male/female), the open, modern design. So worth it.

Luggages are stored at the lobby. For travelers who carry luggage and visit this hostel would place the luggage in the lobby (or your capsule room). It's my first experience staying in a capsule hotel, but I think it feels more secure if they can be kept at the same floor.

Absolutely no complaints - awesome hotel.

This place is the bee's knees: accommodating, clean, and comfortable. Their attention to detail included offerings of slippers, pajamas, a hairdryer plus a whole host of free toiletries and tea/coffee downstairs. They allowed us to leave our bags both before and after checkin. Would definitely stay here again.

The front desk and the elevators to the rooms are on the 2nd floor and can only be reached by stairs. But since my suitcase was quite light and medium sized it wasnt a real problem.

Nice location, right next to the Shinsaibashi shopping street. 10min. walk to the next metro station. The "pods" are set up like small traditional japanese rooms wich are really nice and clean. Shared bathroom and toilets are very clean and modern with a wide range of toiletries. There is also a communal bath on the 9th (or 8th I forgot) floor. Staff was really nice and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay. Perfect for short term stays.

The bedding is a bit too hard,but it’s okay for one-night stay. Can clearly hear other people moving at night.

The public bath is very nice and clean, rooms are spacious compared to other capsule hotels, plenty of free amenities. Staff are really polite and speak very good english.

Amazing location, right in the heart of everything in Osaka. Incredibly comfortable for a pod hotel, came with plenty of amenities. Great onsens upstairs and the downstairs cafe is nice if you are a mixed gender group since the rest of the hotel is divided by male/female. Highly recommend staying here!

There were several things such as the following. Location was excellent, staff was friendly, facilities were clean, and the bedding was more comfortable than expected. Also it was quite spacious for being a capsule room.

The bed and pillow were extremely uncomfortable and hard . I felt like I was sleeping over a table of wood and the pillow was like a rock I didn’t use the pillow . Also the showers and bathrooms are within the room capsule so I was able to hear people drying their hair .

The capsules were very spacious with a nice designs and vibe .

The hotel was very clean, and there were a huge number of provided amenities. The capsule just about fit my mid-size suitcase, so a larger one would have to be left at reception or kept closed. I very much appreciated the gender specific floors.
