There is a certain unpleasant smell in the toilet despite it looking very clean. The room also needs some updating.

It’s conveniently located near various restaurants, the mall, public transportation, Peace Memorial Park and other attractions.

It was very close to the A Atomic bomb and the gallery. Within walking distance. The breakfast was lovely and had a good variety as we are vegetarian/vegans

There aren't many things not to like about this hotel. The only gripe I have(And I'm knocking p a point of the score purely because of it) : They discriminate against people with inked skin. Because we both have tattoos neitehr I nor my wife we allowed in the gym! (I've had this before in Japan with onsens so I'm used to it in general but the gym!?...come on, this is the 21st century.

Excellently located with stunning views of the city. The is one of, if not THE, tallest building in Hiroshima and as a result it has panoramic views of the whole area. Including the Castle, Peace monument, stadium (which are also all only a few minutes walk away) and bay area right out to Miyajima island and beyond! Stunning! The executive room, we had was beautiful with a direct view overlooking the castle. The restaurant was on the top floor and breakfast was a choice of European or Japanese. Both were amazing. Staff are super professional and helpful. There's a well stocked shop in the building and its right next to a beautiful mall with plentiful eateries. Can recommend both the Okonomiyaki and Ramen restaurants there.

The hotel is too large, very impersonal and soulless. Desk staff not at all helpful (we asked for some black tea bags and were told there were none in the hotel!?!) A long line for breakfast.

Good location, large corner room with amazing views, clean and comfortable

The Rhiga Top bar was always expensive, but this time they only served Asahi at a ridiculous price. Last time I stayed they had locally brewed beers, which were excellent and I didn't mind o pop paying a premium for. I also found this time some of the more senior bar staff were arrogant and treated trainees quite badly. As we stayed in an executive room we had the option of the RT breakfast. Let's just say we reverted to the buffet on the ground floor!

Having stayed before it was everything I'd experienced before except in a couple of areas.

Minus for the strange habit of putting one big duvier instead of two personal, so you can have your own. Although married, I hate sleeping close.

The style screams 1994 - it’s quite dated and in need of a refresh. Only three washing machines and the breakfast and dinner buffets are underwhelming.

The big selling points for the Rhiga are its proximity to the A-bomb memorial and shopping streets, the fantastic views and the generously sized rooms. The showers are great and the beds (we had a superior twin room) were large and comfy.

The room was very clean but the hotel definitely needs some renovation.

We booked executive room, so the room was on the top floor with a great view. With executive suite a lot of stuff was complimentary- pool and sauna ( you need to book in advance, we called and asked if we can come in 30 minutes and they said yes), 2 drinks in the bar, 2 tickets to the art museum and very good breakfast on the top floor was included in the price.
