The carpet in the room was not clean and there was a stain on the headboard… we expected a different level in that area. Also, it’s a business conventions hotel, so there was a lot of “traffic” in the elevator and lobby, and a line for breakfast tables.

Very nice hotel in a quiet area of the city, excellent service and very nice amenities… The 37th floor lounge was a nice getaway and the 27th floor pool area was really nice (when entered the at right time and not too busy)

Ive stayed at other Okura hotels before and this hotel felt a bit empty. There was almost no interaction with any staff whenever coming in and out of the hotel. In comparison the Okura kyoto has some of the most amazing and most welcoming staff i have ever seen which made me enjoy my stay much more.

Everything was great! Large rooms with stunning views, we also had a bathtub with a view – it was fantastic! Very comfortable beds and blackout curtains. Amazing gym and spa zone with saunas and hot baths.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed! Luxury yet minimal with five star facilities and service. The breakfast was amazing and all the staff very friendly, polite and more than willing to help. Can't wait to visit it again!

Beautiful hotel and clean, spacious room equipped with everything I needed. Spa, gym, and swimming pool facilities were excellent. All the staff were so helpful and attentive. I got so impressed by the thorough and careful cleaning to every detail.

No coffee shop within the hotel. Need to go to Okura prestige.

Spectacular amenities, fantastic room size, overall very luxurious. Heated bathroom floors, steam shower, top class toiletries and skin care! Very good location.

Hotel location was a little bit remote, it took us a few days to get familiar with the public transport before we stopped using taxi.

The room was incredibly spacious and had a lot of amenities and the bed was also very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely too - only hope that there would've been a bit more options for vegetarian food.

Not much to say, but would note that there isn’t much around the hotel and most transport links and facilities are about a 10-15min walk.

Fantastic facilities and service, staff was kind and always eager to help. I had an accident and broke my foot during my stay, the staff helped bring ice to my room several times, arranged a taxi to bring me to the hospital and loaned me a wheelchair for me to use. Really impressed with the service. The breakfast was also incredible, one of the best I’ve had.

There should be more options for room service. Specially international food selections.

They gave us a room with a great view (Sky tree and Tokyo Tower). It had an amazign bath tub and was a fully automated room. Incredible attention to detail and comfort amenities. The spa was absolutely amazing.,

Only thing I would say is that the carpet in the room could use replacing

Perfect location - 10 minute walk from two metro stations with easy access to all major attractions. Lovely quiet area to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The room was regularly refreshed and had everything that I needed and then some!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Okura - genuine Japanese luxurious hospitality. The room was spacious, the view was fantastic. We had everything we could possibly think of. Japanese breakfast was served in the room and it was a truly memorable experience. Spa, swimming pool, gym are fantastic. We will definitely be back!
