Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandOne piece of important feedback. Breakfast is served in a very narrow corner and there's only one VERY slow coffee machine which means you have to queue for 15-20 minutes. It's and easy thing to fix - buy an additional coffee machine.
Very comfortable hotel with friendly professional staff. Rooms are spacious and elegant and the location could not be better.

SwedenHad no trash basket in the room, only one small in the bathroom. No lotion or conditioner in the bathroom.
Located near the center of Krynica with easy access to all restaurants, water drinking facilities etc. The hotel has some years but is well kept and maintained. Nice room with decent size. Coffee facilities in the room. Bed was comfortable and cleaning was well done, above average compared to other hotels i stayed in lately. Breakfast was good and had plenty of choices, loved the pancakes with filling. Parking (fee) just outside the hotel.

NetherlandsThe shower was shabby, also we had only one blanket for a big bed with two people, that was really unsufficient. The breakfast got crowded and there was not enough space to sit meaning we could either wait with our plates already full with food or sit outside. We chose to sit outside but it was cold so not very enjoyable. You would expect a more professional approach. It would have been better either to let people wait before they get food and let them in only once a table is freed or if the customers are exiled to outside and it is chilly, provide them with a blanket.
Everything was clean, breakfast food and choice was very good, the SPA is recently renovated with a decent pool and three saunas, personnel was friendly.

PolandThe breakfast was poor comparing to other hotels in this range. Poor choice of cold cuts (no chicken or turkey at all), little choice of vegetables, average coffee (better to be paid for), no choice of fruits. The Covid rules are completely not existing while are a good excuse for not providing the daily cleaning service in the rooms.
The location was perfect. The hotel itself is also nice, old building with its history. The staff was polite. Parking ok. Great pool area and in general good SPA.

United KingdomExtremely outdated, no place to sit to have a coffee or other drink. The bar area is open late with rather bad and loud music. No mini bar / fridge in the room (never came across anything like it!! ) no kettle or coffee maker in the room, this is so so bad!! Less than basic… the place has a great potential but needs a serious changes
Very friendly and helpful staff, everyone from the reception team to restaurant staff were amazing!

PolandThe hotel has four stars and a big reputation. I'd say they need to try a little harder. Charging for on-site parking is not cool. Long wait for the single coffee machine serving a pretty large restaurant - easy enough to buy a second one. Internet was terrible throughout the hotel - get the engineers in.
Good location in the town centre. Spa good, massage in particular. Food at breakfast was good.

United StatesI've stayed at this hotel a number of times, although the receptionist at the checkin desk could not verify that. (Booking.com did - thank you). Despite it being branded as a 4-star facility, I must say it does not own up to it. The entrance to the hotel (without a car) is via a steep, cobble-stoned driveway (poor luggage wheels). On-site parking is very limited. The room decor, furniture and smell is rather dated, with bed frames (Twin) made of rough wood, making it feel more country-stay than a 4-star hotel. TVs are pre-HDMI and pre-42". Bathrooms are good (surprisingly, the most modernized part of the room). Wifi was the most important service to me and proved disappointing at Hotel Prezydent. It was unsecured and weak (Low-Security Wifi alert on both my phone and laptop) which made it impossible for me to check my business email (U.S. government account). I brought up this concern to hotel's management and was refused from accessing their other (secure) network, claiming it was hotel's internal network for management's secure browsing - ironic! When asked for a nearest secure public Wifi I was told the nearest McDonald's is located 20 miles away (in Nowy Sacz). I will be reconsidering my future stays at Hotel Prezydent.
The hotel is located in the heart of Krynica. Continental breakfast is good, but premium coffee like a cappuccio and a macchiato are available extra charge to your room.

United KingdomThis hotel is a mess. No management or very poor one. There is no connection or coordination between the reception and the rest of the services, nobody seems to control it. Room service was hopeless, they never did what I had asked in advance. I will never come back here or recommand this strange object to anybody. For sure, it does not deserve these 4 stars!
I liked the views from my window. However, there is a building site below in Deptak promenade at the moment, of which nobody informed me in advance. I had quite noisy stay, and I expected the opposite. It should be just a gentle sound of the little stream below.
