How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had impression that the room cleaning service could be a bit better, as we expected it will include new sheets and vacuuming. Considering the 2 nights we stayed, I think it was fine, but it would've bothered us more if we planned for a longer stay.
Great choices of breakfast, really nice location and possibility to park inside the garage.

We didn't have breakfast so I cannot say if it's good or not.
Everything was great, a beautiful lobby, great wellness with sauna and swimming pool, gym. The location of the hotel isn't in the city center but it is easy to reach the hotel by walking or public transport.

The heating did not work. Finally, a technician came and did some repairs, but the temperature was not raised noticeable. We were very cold, as it was a rainy day... but we used the in room kettle to make hot tea and managed to feel better.
Close to the city center (about 2km). Very clean. Excellent breakfast, lots of products to choose from. The coffee is excellent! The view over the river is amazing. The facilities are very clean. Especially the pool on the 6th floor is very nice. Good Wi-Fi. Friendly staff. I saw they also have underground parking (we did not use it, though).

Not impressed with restaurant menu, could do with more choice. Beds very soft, not good if like myself you like a firm mattress.
Friendly and helpful staff, clean hotel. Breakfast great with plenty choice. Rooms good size for 2 people. Very reasonably priced! And located in an area where easy to get around as tram just 2 min walk and lots places in walking distance.

Liked everything about the hotel. The staff were really pleasant and helpful. The room was great, spacious, clean and tidy. The bed was very comfy. The breakfast choices were great. We chose this hotel because of the spa facilities and were not disappointed. It was a welcome treat after a long day trip. The boat trip up the castle was also an added bonus.

We love the free boat from the hotel to the castle. Very convenient and romatic.

I can't think of anything. It was all pretty much perfect. Maybe slightly lower prices at the bar would be nice.
Amazing breakfasts, with a HUGE range of choices to suite everyone. Clean, comfortable rooms, and a great swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi etc on the 6th floor.

Supposed to be 1 large double bed, turned out to be 2 singles joined. Slightly unpleasant for a couple but survivable.
Pool. Jacuzzi. Sauna. Gym. Location by the river. View from swimming pool room.
