There is a bar downstairs which you can hear a little bit, but it closes at 10pm I think, cause later we didn’t hear it.

Super clean, it is run by a very nice woman. For that price it’s so worth it. Couldn’t have a better place in Portimão, I’ll come back for sure. I love the bathroom, not only a beautiful one but super clean and so many towels for the hands and face wash❤️.

This place is nothing short of magical. Eddy and Catarina are exceptional hosts and quickly became much more than that to us. The Bamboo room is exceptional and looks just like the photos. We had planned on one night and ended up staying three because we felt so at home. This was our favorite stay we had in Portugal. Can’t wait to return.

Difficult to find parking in the area!

We had a fantastic stay at Aldeia de Portimão! The spacious terrace was a highlight, offering a perfect spot to relax. The king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and the cleanliness was top-notch. Highly recommended!

Walls are paper thin, so really depends on the kind of neighbours you end up having. First night was noisy, second was perfect. Also, the keypad of the access door to the rooms makes a loud noise when triggered and it resonates through the hallway. If you are a light sleeper, it might jerk you up. This is for those coming from far with big suitcases. Be mindful that rooms are on 1st floor, with no lift. Totally ok for those coming with small bags otherwise! This could be a normal thing in Portugal which I wasn't aware of but there were no complimentary water bottles or daily housekeeping. Just an observation! Not an issue per se.

Lovely modern room. Great water pressure. Bed was nice and comfy. Clean suite. Great staff. One helped me up the stairs with my big suitcase. Super responsive following a complaint about noise from neighbours my 1st evening. Very nice bar/restaurant just below - not a noise nuisance as windows seem to be soundproof.

The property was absolutely cute, and i got to do yoga which i loved. Everyone was welcoming especially the lady of the house ;) she greeted me and made me feel like somewhat family. Everyone gave the same Reception and made me genuinely feel like i was home with family, i’ll defo come to portugal and stay many times over. PS i got my phone back xxxx

All the facilities and all the people who worked there. There are not into business but into human welcoming and sharing that you can talk about everything. I had a bad news from my company before I left and maybe will not have a job when I m back we don’t know who will be going and could help to relax by her words and magic hands.

What is up with this place? There was no common space for folks in the hostel - just the bar downstairs. You could only be in that space when the bar is open, which made it feel like the hostel was a bit of an afterthought to the rest of the establishment. Also, on my second night, said bar was open, and bumping, on a Wednesday! So I had to fall asleep to the noise and music being pretty loud outside my window. So I can’t exist beyond my room in the hostel after hours when the bar is closed, but when I try to go to sleep, I have to deal with the noise? What even is this place? It felt very isolating - just a bedroom Tucked away on the second floor, never seeing other guests outside my room. When I first checked in, I overhead the man who let me in the front door notify another man, “you have a guest who wants to check in,” and the other man said, “seriously?!” Like he was astonished that I showed up… it was so so strange. Oh and the bathroom SMELLED the whole time :(
