There were quite a few small roaches moving about the room.

The staff was great. The room was great with a really good view. The restaurant was really nice and open late.the location was really good with great places to eat within minutes just walking and places to party nearby as well.

Perfect place in the middle of where it’s all happening. Good restaurants and bars all around. I was informed that the hotel will be renovated as from June 2024. Makes sense to keep it attractive. Staff is great, helpful and friendly!!

The wifi isn't strong and my devices needed to re-boot. TV channels are very very basic, so if you spend time in your room, it's pretty inadequate. Could use some basic maintenance, if not an overhaul, but if they did that, I guess I wouldn't be getting the room and facilities at the very good price I have.

This is a fantastic location for me. Close to great clubs and great eateries. Plenty of people around to meet and greet. I love the size of the room, which you can't get at too many places for that price. For me that feels more luxurious than coloured towels.

The hotel needs an upgrade badly. as mentioned we had 1 bedroom suit, the suit felt so empty with useless space, would be better to refurbed to family suit. The ceiling height was ridiculously low, partner is 6"4 and nearly touching the ceiling. The shower is in the bath [ nothing wrong with this] but im 5'3 and i had no more than 20cm before my head hit the ceiling. This was very weird indeed. The only window to the suit was in the bedroom facing a wall, so everywhere in the suit was dark, the light in the bathroom was deem that you had no good place to do make up. Was put into smoking room first, smelt sooo bad and it was unprofessional of staff to not ask where we would like smoking or non smoking room. When i looked up at the smoke detector, it was covered up with clear tape. I guess because it was a smoking room but God help you if there was a fire, everyone would be dead! Plus smoking should never be allowed in rooms in hotels at all unless you have a balcony, it was very bad still to be allowed to smoke inside a hotel.

We were upgraded to 1 bedroom suit, it was massive for which most of the space just lacked sense. Staff were lovely and when asked to switched rooms as were placed in smoking room/floor, this was met promptly. Location/price was good.

Location: near to my hospital, tourist area, many restaurants & bars are there and available transportation 24/7. Staffs are good and supportive only when asked for.

The check-in took some time and when I got my key, I went to the room and it was not cleaned.. went back down and they gave me the next room. The rooms were really moist in my opinion and it had kind of old vibe.

The view was nice and the room was very big. Bed was nice and I had a good sleep.

I kept getting confused with how to operate the lifts (although simple) and sometimes it's a bit of a wait but no issue really, at all.

"RAY" (Cowbytours) always books Grand President, whenever we visit Bangkok. It's in such a prime location and Soi 11 is such a great little street for beers, watching sport in the sports bar immediately next to the main entrance of this hotel and for food. The staff are always lovely and polite and very well presented- as they were during this visit. Upon arrival, we made use of the outdoor pool and ordered our "we are back in Bangkok and very happy to be so" beers up to the 5th floor where the pool is. There were 5 in our group of friends and all had no complaints at all regarding our stay at this hotel (for 3, it was their first visit to Bangkok/Thailand). The rooms were clean, as per usual and basically, i (and we) will certainly stay in Grand President if we are lucky enough to visit this great city once again in the future :)

Wifi and TV reception were below an acceptable standard. And breakfast prices are more expensive than you'd want, given the room cost. That's OK. I can choose not to eat there.

I love the location! All my favourite bars and eateries within an easy walk, good night life, people to meet. But I've been to Thailand before, so I wasn't trying to see "everything". I was delighted to be just where I was. Grand President needs an upgrade, but because it does, the rates are fantastic, and the rooms are really large, so for me, it's great value! There's a good pool and gym and taxis outside. The one drawback was that the TV reception was abysmal, but I guess most people don't watch TV. Not the most plush hotel you can find but superb value for money and comfortable for a long stay. Really good staff too.

A slight noise fact late at night coming from a dance or night club, but not bad. Rooms a tad old, but still clean. Door latch had been worked a few times that might be a security issue, but I still felt safe

I have to wait a little upon check in, but the wait was worth it as they upgraded my room, to a two room suite on the 8th floor, bed was nice and pillows fluffy, both rooms were very spacious at that. All interactions with hotel staff were pleasant. Breakfast was not included but there was a Starbucks near by.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were assigned room 406. Unfortunately, this room proved to be extremely noisy, being directly adjacent to the street. The noise from the bars and traffic prevented us from getting more than about 3 hours of sleep the first night, which is far below the expected level for a comfortable stay. Expectation Management: Having made our booking more than 8 months in advance, we did not expect to be assigned such a low-quality room, especially one with known noise issues. It seems clear that the hotel is aware of these problems, which makes the allocation of such a room to us even more unsatisfactory. Pictures vs. Reality: Furthermore, we wish to point out that the hotel's representation on your website does not match reality. The images used reflect the hotel's condition at opening and not its current, worn-down state. This misrepresentation has further contributed to our disappointment. Request for Action: We request that Booking.com conveys this complaint to the hotel with the aim of being allocated a different room, as well as some form of compensation for the inconvenience we have experienced. The loss of sleep and the need to spend time addressing these issues during our stay have had a significant negative impact on our overall experience.

The staff are very gentle and very serviceminded. After a complain to due Noice from the street it was an acceptable stay.
