How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The internet connection in the rooms
The staff and particularly Latif is friendly and kind with all the guests. The breakfast is really good!

It was a little old (as I mentioned before) and that's why needs a bit of cleaning and renovation.
The owner changed my room when I told him the previous room was dirty, so that's nice. The staff overall is nice and friendly. The rooms need a little renovation (but the owner told me that he is going to get it done soon, so it is nice). The location is nice too.

The bed was a little dated and uncomfortable but I survived and still had an okay nights sleep.
I was able to check in early, after an early flight this was such a nice treat. The breakfast was great, a nice selection. I booked a tour through the hostel and it worked out really well too. The location for everything in Göreme is perfect.

There were no slippers in the room and the floor was not so clean.
Great location. We could wait for our bus in the common hall after checkout. The staff speaks good English.

We had a really nice stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and the common area very cozy for breakfast or tea. There was always someone there to welcome us and the staff was very helpful for all our questions and needs.

The floor is little bit dusty, and need to improve room facilities like kettle and microwave.
The owner and staff are helpful, they assist me to provide shuttle service and a tour package. Location is near to many restaurants and accessories/gift shops. We can see also air balloons from terrace of hotel.

Water is not warm enough for taking proper shower for our first 2 nights and I believe because it’s weekend so there were more people staying at the hotel. You can easily hear noise from outside.
Very friendly and responsive staff. Location is great. Simple breakfast. Nice view from the rooftop.

There was condensation in the bathroom due to the cold weather outside, but it didn't really bother
Exceptional breakfast. Staff is really helpful and understanding. Really good value for money. The location is good, close to all the main places, but in the still neighborhood.

Space to put your own luggage on the dorms
The staff was incredible, Ozcan was super helpful help me with the transport and tours, super reliable people in the hostel, Jay the owner always answer my whatssap message quickly, the breakfast were enough for the morning, fresh and delicious, coffee and tea ready all the time, so I truly recommended this place to anyone who wanted a pleasant time in Capadoccia!!!!!

The room was a little stuffy because there was barely any ventilation. For some reason the bed i chose had sand on it. Also the bed is a little noisy. One of the toilet bidet wasn't working.
The staff were really friendly and helpful and nice. They were the best part of the accomodation. The breakfast was also really wonderful. The bed was comfortable enough.
