Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

South AfricaThe “discounted” prices offered to guests for access to the hotel’s beach club no.6 are the same prices being offered to the general public. Personally, I would rather utilise the neighbouring beach no.9, which has better facilities and at a cheaper cost.
Great location, service & overall condition. Pool area in excellent condition, albeit that towels are not offered at the pool area or for the beach.

SloveniaThe only real complaint is that they charge you for coffee during dinner even if you're on a half-board package. Fine, alcohol is not included, but coffee? They are charging around 200,- EUR per night, and they bill you an extra 40,- TLL (around 1,30,- EUR) for a cup of what is barely better than a Nescafe. This complaint is not about the money, but rather about their effort to go over the top with trying to make money.
The hotel is exactly what it is on the pictures - clean, spacious, with nice interior design. Despite Alanya's extremely dense buildings placement, you don't feel like this one is squeezed in - the pool is of the right size for the hotel of this scale, the restaurant is more than capable of hosting everyone at the same time, and the rooms are just about the right size for a 'beach holiday' hotel. Breakfast is quite a standard affair with live-cooked omelette, a selection of cheeses and vegetables, but dinner is definitely top-notch. There is always stuff to pick from, some meats are being cooked in front of you, and you can find something for every taste. Probably seafood selection could be better, but I have been reliably advised that Turkey in general is not your prime destination for seafood cooking expertise, so... A STRONG recommendation would be to go for the pool or sea-view room, as otherwise you'll be staring at a concrete wall of the nearby building, which is barely 4 meters away. We have foolishly booked that room, but upon check-in were offered an upgrade (for a fee), which was the best money spent. Also, if you have a chance to book a room on the top two floors, use this opportunity - there is a park / cemetery between the beach and the hotel, so it might hide the beach from the view a bit from the lower floors.

SlovakiaNice rooms, spacious, very clean. Very nice views on the sea. The location is great! Within walk to cable cabins, which will take you to a old city treasure (ruins - walls). Beuatiful sceneries from there. Great wine and dine restaurant up there "Gardenia". All inclusive in this hotel is very much like ultra all inclusive. During the day variety of meals, snacks. Variety of foods were great (morning, noon, dinner) all 10days was not the same, we really enjoyed the food. We have spent everyday on a different beach, from coast to coast, which was exciting. We also went on jetski, amazing fun, as always. We really loved the location of the hotel, as it is within walk to the main shopping street and shopping is amazing in Turkey, especially Alanya. We had a great night sleep, the beds are very comfortable. We were 4 people and all 4 wants to come back! Stuff was amazing too, thank you very much! Greetings

SwitzerlandNot much to criticise. Front desk and restaurant staff seemed a bit grumpy at times. Bed linen was just a thin cotton blanket, would have liked a proper sheet. Also would have expected a hotel of this quality to provide beach towels (with a caution/deposit if necessary).
Stayed on business. Excellent property. Good aircon. Acceptable wifi for business calls. Clean, functional room. Great shower. Comfortable bed and pillow. Sat on the balcony watching the beautiful sunset while on a conference call with the US. Noise disturbance from other guests was minimal, just some doors opening and closing in the morning. Breakfast was delicious, freshly squeezed orange juice. Great location, right by the beach, beautiful trees outside. Parking was easy and free. Short walk to Sip Coffee, Mackbear and 140 Coffee Bistro, for speciality coffee.

United StatesCoffee - both in the restaurant and in the room .. Coffee drinks came from a machine and tasted like it was made from instant coffee. This fact did not spoil our stay in any way. Starbucks is only 2 min walk away. Not a deal breaker in any way
Breakfast was excellent ! Great variety of options. Freshly made eggs and omelettes. Variety of breads , vegetables, cheeses (very good cheese). Very very pleased. Same applies to dinner - excellent ! always options for meat eaters and vegetarians, variety of vegetables ( cooked and raw, salads, various olives, cheeses), options for sides, variety of fruits and good choice of delicious deserts. Wait staff made all meals especially pleasant experience. Very attentive and friendly. Reception staff ( Ci’han,Ahmet, Egine - spelling might be wrong, forgive if I’ve forgotten anyone) - extremely pleasant ! Always very accommodating and friendly. The guy who helped us with luggage when checking In and out was very pleasant as well. We absolutely loved our room ! Top floor suite with panoramic windows and a million dollar sea view, plus 2 balconies. Very stylishly designed. A million dollar view - no doubt. Room service was also very good. Thanks for complimentary drinking water ! Amazing sunsets both if observed from the beach and from the room. Thanks for everything !

GermanyThe swimming pool is closing at 7pm which is a bit early. It would be nice to be able to enjoy it until 10-11pm. When paying for half pension, only 1 33cl water bottle per person is free, any other drink or water bottle is charged extra which is quite unfair if you consider that for full pension all drinks are included. It would be good to have at least unlimited free water for people paying half pension and free soft drinks would be good. For couples, a double bed would be nicer than two single beds. Timings for breakfast (8.30-10) and especially dinner (6.30-8pm) were quite short which really shortens your day out if you don't want to miss out your meal. It would be nice to have large timespan for meals, 3 hour time would be good, something like 6.30-9.30 pm for dinner for example. Food variety for dinner is also often quite limited, it is mostly grilled meat and meat in sauce dishes but very limited vegetarian options and desserts.
The hotel location is great, next to the beach and central with lots of shops around. The hotel facilities are good and the hotel is clean. The room is comfortable, of adequate size and we'll equipped with a small fridge containing 2 half litter water bottles for free, refilled everyday.
