Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe bed was quite high. Probably 30 inches. I'm short and I had to run and jump to get on it. And it was a king bed the bedspread was too small. The towels were awful. They worked but they were dingy with blue stripes. They looked like prison towels. There were no cups- Two water filtration points and no way to capture it. No coffee maker.
I booked the jacuzzi suite. The place was strange, the lady at the front desk seemed bothered by my asking questions about the area. She didn't tell us where to park, how to get upstairs, just handed me the key and told me to go to the back of the hotel. We ventured down the street and thru the gates into the back of the compound. The mansion is large, the back contains two sets of outside stairs. Once upstairs we went down a hallway and found our room. The room was huge. It had a king size bed, leather sofa, coffee table, dining table and chairs, tv and credenza. The walk-in closet had a microwave and refrigerator. The carpet was old, it had some slight stains and the color had faded from cleaning. You could only tell because the carpet went up the wall to a chair rail, and the color was a light mint green. All the trim was in golden oak. It was like a room from 1982. The carpet was probably 40 years old but still very tight. I actually took off my shoes because it didn't feel right walking on it with them on. This was some very expensive well made carpet. The workmanship on the house is quite impressive. But it is dated, but that didn't bother us. It was clean, quiet and comfortable.

United StatesWhen I arrived I wasn't really sure where I was supposed to park. There are three gates that are opened and one of them lead to another gate which led to the back of the hotel. It was just a little confusing. The place seems like a fortress which, I guess, could make you either feel safe or locked up.
The room was clean and everything was in working order. The breakfasts were simple and plentiful with a variety of choices. It was close to everything I was going to be doing, so the location was great. The drive up Water Canyon only took 15 minutes for a great hike. The Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park was only 30 minutes away.

United StatesWhen we arrived, we were told that only two breakfast were free per room (we had a family suite and were 8, and on booking it said breakfast included). Until the end of our stay, we didn’t hear back from someone to know if we had to pay or not. It seems that the only person there was here only for welcoming the person but didn’t know how to make the heating system work in our suite. Thus we only had a single heating unit for the whole suite and were very very cold. The 4 kids slept together in the king bed to be warm!
We had a lot of space.

United StatesDifficult to find. We saw no sign on main highway passing by Hildale. There was no conspicuous sign at the hotel. Arrived around 5 pm. It took 5 to 10 minutes to locate an employee to check us it - we rang desk bell several times, called two phone numbers and left messages, walked around the building and grounds and saw no one. Only one washcloth (I only mention this because another reviewer had experienced the same thing.) A second one was produced upon request. I'm not giving this hotel an exceptional rating because of the uncertainty of what's going on here. I believe for our first night there were 4 other guests and the second night only 2, but yet there were many people eating breakfast. (None were the other guests.) We minded our own business and didn't ask questions.
Only after we arrived did we learn that this 14 bedroom building was part of a compound constructed for FLDS leader Warren Jeffs. Our very large room with 10' ceiling, walk-in closet, plush walls, two comfortable queen beds and large bathroom was more than we would expect at a fine hotel. Everything seemed clean, quiet and comfortable. I appreciated that the room was dark and the mini-heat pump was quiet and efficient. The free breakfast was delicious and far superior to normal motel breakfasts. Route to Zion NP was an easy drive.

United StatesHildale is kinda the middle of nowhere. No real dining options in the evenings and hotel is about 50 Mins from Zion National Park--didn't realize that but we made it work.
Room was spacious, comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Super friendly and helpful staff.

United StatesThe bed pillows were terrible. There were only two towels, no daily service, which is fine, but I wasn't told there wouldn't be daily room cleaning. No bathroom rug.
The room was really quiet. I couldn't hear anyone else in the entire hotel. The morning breakfast was good, changed daily so it was nice to have different options. The hotel was clean and tidy.

Comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom. Refrigerator and microwave were nice to have. No traffic noise. Did not stay for breakfast so can't comment on it. Close to hiking trails

United StatesIt looks like a prison from the outside and it was difficult to find how to get into the parking. Receptionist wasn't there when we arrived, after ringing the bell and waiting, we had to call a management number to get someone to come check us in. Overall hotel vibe was a little unnerving but the actual room was really great.
Huge room, quiet neighborhood. Great breakfast. Good value for money.

United Statesthe rooms where not properly cleaned, it seemed like they only made the beds and did a quick wipe down and that was it. we had to clean the kitchen and bathrooms our selves which in all reality who wants to do that when you’re in vacation and when you’re paying that much to stay at a hotel.
property has an amazing view and the hotel it self was quite nice. I loved that the room had a full size kitchen and the balcony was nice and big. and the hotel was quiet. our 1st room was very dusty and dirty all around and the front desk lady did allowed us to move to a bigger different room. and they accommodated our breakfast requests.

Room was perfect, view from the room also was amazing. I could not say for breakfast. They need to improve in that area. There is a hike and a national park next to the hotel, so all is good.

SlovakiaWe arrived early since the zion canyon was so packed we could not get in, there was no one at the reception. we got jacuzzi room, but jacuzzi did not work (it was not in the description, but the name of the room was confusing). Some girls tried to use jacuzzi because they thought it is public jacuzzi. AC was set up too cold but the controller was locked up so we have to get to the reception to ask them to change the temperature which is weird. You should be able to set your favorite temperate :-)
This hotel is cute family hotel with some quirks. Room was big with big bath in really small town one hour drive from Zion national park.
