Live baby cockroach in the shower was off-putting, a partially-eaten slice of pizza was shoved in the lamp that teetered on top of the microwave. There was a whad of pink gum stuck to left of microwave. The XFinity cable box didn't function so I couldn't watch anything. The light would blink repeatedly & then timed out/shut off. There was a tangled mass of overloaded extension cords & adaptors plugged into a power strip (fire anyone?) The toilet ran & ran & only stopped when I lifted the tank lid & manually lifted to float (after every flush). Bathroom light/fan were married & noisy...couldn't have one w/o the other. Shower knobs/Temperature difficult to regulate without extreme fluctuations. Clerk prepared room by putting on the heater before showing me to the room (it was a warm day so I found it kinda strange). I realized it was to cover the sound of the incessantly-running toilet. Took some time, trial & error to turn on the A/C as several buttons were worn through the front electrical panel & the sone no longer readable as to their function.

Location was close to Stanford medical community. Convenience stores, grocery stores, restaurants within a short distance. Check in staff was very nice & tried to make a good impression...offering to carry my bags up the stairs for me. I declined as I had only a small bag, etc. Desk space was nice, internet signal operational. Bathroom towels were clean & bright.

need better directions for the heating system .

I stayed here before and I will continue to stay here . I have medical issues and it’s close to the hospital. the staff is always friendly they remember my name even after a few weeks that go by . the only complaint I have is that they need to give better directions on the heating system . other than that I love this place . 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼💯

noisy neighbors, some doing drugs in front of their rooms, and the room I stayed in was hunted. Some of my things were just dropping/flipping onto the floor. cold air blowing at my face even when a/c is off. gave me goosebumps.

    it was clean, courteous owner.

it got crazy loud around 2:00 am. there was no answer at front desk so we dialed 911. it sounded like someone was being tortured next door. we had no security bolt on our door.

The place is run down and old. It needs refurbished. Floor is linoleum and wasn't entirely clean (but easy to clean if they wanted to!). Bedside table wasn't clean either. Bathroom was clean and plenty of towels. But the whole place was out of date and needs renovated. Airco unit old and noisy. Location not great (no view, curtains need to be closed permanently, or else other guests see right into the room. Street noises from the busy El Camino Real. So keep windows closed too. No coffee/tea machine in the room nor in the reception. Reception still closed (COVID).... bit strange for a hotel. Check via a counter (window).

Friendly staff at check-in. Parking + TV set is OK. We did not use them but there was a fridge and microwave in the room too. Bed was good and big (King). But we were cold the first night as there was only one thin blanket. We asked an extra blanket the next day and got that delivered.

The facilities are not good. Parking is tight and very difficult. The rooms were sketch. Our bedspread had cigarette burn holes in it and the bathroom had a hole in the door. All hotels in the area are pricey. This place is affordable but not ideal. My partner would not sleep here, we ended up leaving after we saw the room. In a pinch it will do but I would be wary of cockroaches here. However the staff was nice. They do not have a lobby, you speak to the front desk through and outside window with a mic. Also no elevator. Chances are you will carry your luggage up outdoor stairwell. I can’t see how this place could be accessible for someone with mobility issues.

    Staff was extra friendly.

The room was very conducive towards working from my room. I am a writer and artist and the room became my studio with good table space. Being a corner room I had good natural lighting. Staff was excellent during the night of the one hour blackout, coming to each room to explain and see that we were OK.
