The tv didn’t work in our room so we got moved. The tv in the next room kept going in and out very frustrating.

What a beautiful hotel in a great location. It successfully combines comfort with style. The bathroom was a lot better than I expected after reading previous reviews. The staff were excellent. Drinks and food in the billiard bar with staff in 20's attire is definitely recommended

TV did not work. No matter the amount of resets. We ignored it because we were there overnight and weren’t in the room much.

Stunning hotel. The chop house was phenomenal. We liked that we were close the highway and activities but didn’t seem to be the best area or part of town.

We love this facility, our room was appointed with the appropriate period furniture, and the service was exceptional from the vehicle valet, handling of our luggage, the bartender, basically everyone we met stood out as loving their job and doing their best. We will return.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful bar had a great snack menu, we also ate in the restaurant the food was great and the staff were really attentive. The rooms were a great size and looked very modern.

Some of the downside in my personal experience was that you have to request things to be brought up to your room, meaning extra blankets or robes (that are typically already in the room) and food delivery. There is no room service during the week… at all. That really surprised me. I didn’t love having to order out and then coming downstairs to fetch it when the whole point was to avoid social interaction / privacy. The room that I stayed in the tower seemed a bit dated. And the water pressure is okay, the temperature takes a while to warm up. Definitely a good 4/5 in my experience but I imagine others would definitely give a 5/5. Thank you Read House.

There’s a lot of allure to the Read House. When researching where to stay for a business trip, the photos online stand out and I was curious to explore this hotel. They have a beautiful lobby, ball rooms and hallways. My room was very spacious and quiet. The parking valet was quick and convenient. That being said, I want to end this on a good note. The restaurant is very nice and classy. Alan, the bartender is a wonder of the world. He was full of great stories and service. Coming here to see him makes it all worth it. It was nice to have a warm pool as an option and an operating gym in a historic hotel, which isn’t common. Definitely a good 4/5 in my experience but I imagine others would definitely give a 5/5. There wasn't a doorman on this particular day, and the front doors are a bit heavy and hard to manage with luggage.

The service from the desk and room service was perfect, and the hotel and room were gorgeous! I particularly loved the upgrade on our room to the tower!
